What's really funny (outside of Seacrest's Catholic self importance) is all the people who keeping saying "if the (ACA) is upheld". Maybe you missed the memo. SCOTUS already ruled on that.

There are portions of the ACA that will not be upheld.

And why is my being a Catholic such a challenge for you?

We need to have a Catholic discussion one of these days. I'm Catholic, and pretty much don't believe in 85% of it. Make a thread 'Crest.

So you're not catholic then?

You don't seem to have an issue starting threads.

If you really want to have a discussion, start a thread.

Which were already upheld. It's sour grapes. If it gets back to SCOTUS I think their ruling will be (in more lawyery wording). "Hey dickheads. We already ruled on this."

The individual mandate was upheld, they struck down some of the punitive language directed to states regarding Medicaid expansion and some part of the bill are still being challenged. #Truth

Well, you're the lawyer but just googling and reading about it seems there are a lot of mentions of it being challenged in court.

Not so.

There have been a number of challenges that have been allowed to proceed at the federal level.
Try and avoid the name calling and just look up some of this tuff. Here is a few links to get you started.

So I was approached at the grocery store this morning with a proposition to buy smokes in exchange for someone using a LINK card to buy my groceries...I chuckled, shook my head, and walked away...I wasn't even going to acknowledge that bullshit request with the respect of an answer.

Some people...

Unemployed folks can't really have households of their own very well, can they?

No, their scrub asses move into basements and suck off the government teet.

So you think half this board moved into someone's basement in the last 5 years?

Living with someone is cheaper than living by one's self. A household of two can better absorb one person being unemployed than a household of one can.

Im sorry, maybe Im misunderstanding you.

A lot of members of this board lost jobs in the last 5 years. Some were/are single. What do you think they did?

Are you being serious here? You really think a big chunk of the 91% is getting thrown in on a loophole?

I never said we should overlook it. I said its not on the radar. Meaning its not as big a problem as many people seem to think.

Neither is terrorism. Why do we worry about it...only affects us once every decade or so. enbeedee.

Are you equating Terrorism with a very small percentage of people abusing welfare?

See that's what Im talking about. Whether you're exaggerating or not, a lot of people feel that way.
