By the way, I think people are missing what Rose said in the USA today interview. If you read it, he said he's 89%. But in his mind that's "far away". That's all. He said he could be ready in a couple of days, a week or maybe a month. He just doesn't know how long it will take to get the remaining 11%.

He also said he gained 11 pounds of muscle and says "he's gonna be good". I believe that. I think we'll actually see a better D-Rose. You know he's been working on his shooting since that's all he can do for the last few months. I'll bet he comes back as a very good 3-point shooter. He won't have to drive as much, but he'll still be able to do so when needed. And with his strength being better, he'll take contact better. And if he's a better shooter, he'll have more open lanes to drive if they have to respect it. He was actually becoming a better shooter before he got hurt anyway.

Sit on the interview for a month.

That's funny, and I feel it deserves a  .

Ouch, guess Boers doesn't think much of Bernstein's column.

Danny was such a little rebel as a beat reporter.

And a shout out to our very own City Of Fools for calling in with the KC sitting on the Vinny/Pax story. Too bad they played stupid, then said it wasn't the same thing.

Wait a second. Now B&B are hinting that the local writers will dish dirt on Derrick since he went to USA Today? What? No they won't. Cuz, while they're pissed, they don't want to break bad on Derrick knowing that they have to cover him for the next 10 years.

They'll continue writing their nothing stories like they always do.

Bernstein just completely played dumb on the KC Johnson story. He ripped KC at the time. Vinny didn't plant the story. KC told Craig Seiger the story and then Seiger reported it on TNT. KC didn't know he was gonna do it. That's how it happened.

Beardown, I've heard some unbelieveably good reports from the local guys that follow this Bulls' team, and that includes The SCORE's own David Schuster before he left for Chicago Baseball Spring Training late last week in Arizona in regards to Derrick Rose and the long rehab back from his torn ACL. Before this USA Today story came out, I was under the impression that Rose was thisclose to getting what Bulls' Owner/Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf specifically said up the dial last summer. That would be clearance from the Bulls' doctors to resume his career. Until he gets such clearance, #TheReturn should be known as #TheWaiting, and not just a 1981 Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers song.

Agree! Don't piss off the cutthroat Chicago media (even though these two have spent years ripping them for being soft) or they'll let everyone know that you're banging crack whores and shooting smack.

They sound like whiny, petulant douchebags today.

KC wouldn't even report Pax pulling Vinny's tie. Now he's gonna dish dirt on D-Rose? No fuckin' way. KC is a scared pussy. He wants everybody with the Bulls to like him more than he wants to write or break interesting stories on the team. Same with all of the other guys covering the Bulls.

I heard City of Fools mention this when he called in moments ago. Drinky mentioned Turner Sports' Craig Sager in regards to the John Paxson/Vinny Del Negro incident near the end of VDN's 2nd season with the Bulls that ultimately led to Vinny's firing if I remember correctly.

Gotta love the water carrying and outright protection these two creepy sycophants engage in with Derrick Rose.

It's never, ever, ever, ever wittle Dewicks fault with anything, Terry couldn't tell us fast enough that it was bad advice from his handlers that is the real problem!

Everyone in the NBA is a grown ass man, a professional who shoots the rock, drinks his coffee, opens his mail and flexes his huge, bulging, sweaty muscles like the studs they are! They sign their deals, follow proper protocol to the letter and are totally independent. Everyone except itty bitty Derrick Rose, who seems to need constant protection, constant handling and, at least from these two idiots, constant advice.

Shit is fuckin' weird.

....and bad.

Now they're gonna try to link this nutball in California to CTE. Seriously? This show has become a trolling expedition and a total parody of itself. Oh for the days of 8-12 with J Hood producing.

I appreciate the invite, TSpeeps, but no, I won't be going over that way....it is also a bad show.

I think I'm just going to stick with Chicago's best sports talk show, you know, the one from 9am-1pm on THE SCORE?

No ReVolution for me, either. I was once named the president of the B&B ALS. Captain goes down with the ship.

Get the hell out of here, you are out of the group.

Don't worry, I hear there are plenty of openings in the Les Grobenstein Clubs, you'd fit right in there, jerk.

CONGRATS.

COF: Good call and great encapsulation of how far astray this show has veered.

I clicked the board and then tuned in to hear them try to explain how international branding isn't as important as local branding, except that it is because we are local that we are more perceptive/sensitive to whatever national/international angle may be.

The link between the ex-cop turned cop-killer and football/CTE is the kind of stuff that makes one regret that they quit sniffing glue yesterday. Or least while tuning in.
