I don't have a Blackhawks game thread to start today, so I have to use my Carissa's Wierd [sic] song title somewhere.

Businesses that make millions and millions of dollars a year, will you be The Boers & Bernstein Show's valentine? <3 <3 <3

Dan Bernstein, will you be Leery's valentine? He even baked you cookies! <3 <3 <3

Gary From Evanston, will you be Youppi!'s valentine? He's down in the dumps, watching the Habs falter.

Is there going to be a Valentine's Day Friday Fung tomorrow? I have a pretty good story about love and Mike North.

Did Oscar Pistorius ever play football? If so, CTE. Even if it was Australian Rules football or South African Rules football it still is a story that needs to be told.

He did. He holds the record for the most personal foul penalties and he's the only guy ever to take off his fake metal leg and try to stab someone with it.

I hope Inspiring Stories is preparing itself for the shitstorm that's going to rain down upon it this afternoon.

I'd be veary wary of eating anything baked by Leery. He's seems creepy and delusional enough to secrete some bodily fluid into the batter while thinking "They won't just be eating my delicious baked goods, they'll be eating my seed and it will grow in them and we will become one...the veery veery best of friends!"

OH SNAP. YOU DON'T NEED R-TRUTH TO TELL CH THAT HE DONE GOT GOT.

also, it's good to see ordo ab chao show up out of the FUN ReReVolution. I noted the VORP values related to each style of show thread, and without a proper ALS we wouldn't have a proper thread about the once-mighty show that used to upgrayeddd our vernacular lexicon with terms like ALS. now it's all about the narrative, message, and outrage. Our listening threads mirror that of those that document Howard Stern's ongoing "revolution" (small v)

It's kind of like when the elderly clamor to tell you who's dead and/or dying. Bad news, it travels fast / if it's about you you'll prolly hear about it last

That was Kenny Loggins from Yacht Rock.

So what have you guys given up for #ExtraGum? Durr Speagol is totally embracing the reason for the season by once again pitching something he feels strongly about. #MondoBox

Two things. First, Laurence is still on vacation from the nighttime SCORE and this eve, Zach Zaidman is guest hosting come 6P. Second, Ray Emery gets the call when the Blackhawks get back to work tomorrow night vs. the SHARKs (no relation) at the United Center.

It's all good. Ray Emery getting the start against San Jose isn't good, though. The Sharks' torrid one-goal-in-three-games pace can't last forever.

CH, even though he's been very good, I still don't trust Corey Crawford. Ray Emery hasn't been that bad in net when Coach Q gives him the nod in goal though. ESPN's creepy-looking Barry Melrose calls the Blackhawks' #1 goaltender "the weak link."

Emery has had one great game, one good one, and one bad one. Crawford has been one of the best goalies in the league: 8th in save percentage and 6th in GAA among goalies with more than 60 minutes played. I understand being gun-shy about saying that he has finally arrived, but I feel better with him in net than I do Emery. I just don't trust that bad hip.

Center depth and penalty shooting are weaker links for the Blackhawks than goaltending.

Crawford has come a long way, CH, and seems to be a lot more confident in goal for the Blackhawks these days. Right now, it doesn't matter if Emery or Crawford are in goal. BOTH guys have done the job when called upon in the early going. Right now, I've gotta think Crawford will be in goal Sunday afternoon vs. the Stanley Cup Champion Kings in a 2:30P matinee to accommodate NBC Sports as part of the network's "Hockey Day in America" NHL doubleheader.

It's not that they affect a first-name basis with him; referring to basketball players by first name only is a time-honored tradition. It's that they do so in the context of being paternalistic creeps who all but imply that Derrick Rose is mentally retarded.

I gotta say I'm not so far gone, that I don't see pedophilia wherever I look. Not sure if that's good or bad.
