Hockey isn't a sport that rewards simply being big, tall, and strong. It's more about the honing of specialized skills, like baseball. You can be a chiseled Physical Specimen and be little more than a fourth-line pinball because you don't have the hands, feet, or eyes to make plays. ANd if your center of gravity is too high, you get knocked off the puck too easily.
