This might be a loonnnng season. (and not in the good way)

Hopefully if she continues to be an epic failure on the track then this will be it for the massive media push. It was one thing to just hear about her racing...now to have to hear about her damn relationships is revolting.

Brad Keselowski was in the booth all night.

Has he accomplished anything?

I hope you enjoy the entire next week of coverage that is going to be based around who is dating who in the garage.

I wish they'd quit talking about the fastest car.

Daytona practice is a joke. Its a parade. No one wants to show their hand and they sure as hell aren't going to go balls out in a pack.

Practice? Practice? Are we talking about practice??

Question for Danica people -

What would be an acceptable Sprint Cup season?

I'd say top 22 in points is a success.

The amount of money pumped into that team...she needs to be 16/17, 8 top tens, 3 top 5's, 3 or less DNF's.

1st year in Cup. That's what you expect?

She isn't some 18 year old rookie....and she has top of the line money behind her so yes. Most drivers don't get that kind of money put behind them. Kurt Busch has half the car and he will kick the shit out of her....figuratively, possibly literally with him.

So, taking a look, that's almost exactly Joey Logano's Rookie of the Year season. JL, who spent years in the JGR development stable.

So, nothing less than Rookie of the Year is acceptable?

I'll bet she is ROY.

Danny is the most over rated & over hyped driver in the history of NASCAR. She hasn't done anything to earn a spot in Sprint Cup, & this year will most likely be the beginning of the end of the Sweetcheeks shit show.

So, what would she have to finish this year for you to believe you were wrong?

1 year doesnt make an athlete or race car driver good. She needs to win races consistently for many years to be considered good. Based on the complete failure that has been her stock car racing career, I see no evidence that she is capable of becoming a good race car driver.

So if she wins the Championship, you still wouldn't consider her a good driver. Interesting.

Why do you hate attractive women that are good at something other than looking good?

Winning 1 championship wouldnt put her in the team photo with the Nascar greats. Danny isn't winning the championship. Hell, she has yet to win a race.

I didn't say it would put her in the Hall of Fame. You said she still wouldn't be good.

Would she then be good?

SET YOUR DVR'S ACCORDINGLY -

Quote:
However, this will be a one-two punch for the events happening across the state. The same disturbance/front that will bring rain to Jacksonville will slip off to our south just in time for the Daytona 500 on Sunday. If the forecast is correct, it'll be the second year in a row that rain has disrupted the Daytona race.

Mostly cloudy to overcast skies will rule the forecast for Daytona on Sunday with a 50 percent chance of showers for both the early morning hours and again in the late afternoon. Umbrellas will almost certainly be needed at some point during the day on Sunday.

I'm not sure you want that. I'm bad enough during the regular races.

Well, then I'll talk to myself. I plan to watch.
