Shithole of a movie. Not fun or funny. They give you a few cheap laughs in the crude manner you would expect from member of the Mc Carthys. However, the story is just kind of sad and depressing. This was probably one of the least enjoyable times I have had at a comedy.

I'm not surprised at your reaction. I haven't seen a trailer for this movie that made it look even somewhat funny.

Be careful what you wish for... I talked my wife out of seeing this on Friday and I ended up being submitted to Safe Haven instead.

Holy shit, Hank, that is some bad luck.

Did you try to hold your breath until you passed out?

Even worse... I dozed off after the previews and then rec'd a sharp elbow to the midsection. "It isnt a nice gesture if you dont at least watch the movie."

  Jeez. I'd say paying for her and then her not having to sit there an listen to you talk would be a very nice gesture.

I made her pay for it by commenting about how stupid the movie was throughout.  She'll never wake me up during a chick flick again.

the premise isn't terrible but i just don't find melissa mccarthy the slightest bit funny. if this were a john candy vehicle (rest his soul), it probably could've been a classic.

The premise is basically Midnight Run so obviously it could be funny. The writer decided to add the always hilarious topics of mental illness, child abandonement and job loss to give it that extra kick.

I find Melissa Mc Carthy to be funny sometimes. However, she is stuck in that female comedic actor problem of performing guy humor poorly but hoping to get laughs because it is outrageous for a woman to do those things.
