I think bron is going back to Cleveland, then that will be a true test...IMO James has been the best player in the NBA for 6-7 years now...when it is all said n done he will. Be goat or a close second to Jordan...all star games mean nothing,like the pro bowl.


If he does go back to Cleveland, it's to a team that's slowly improving with Irving, and some nice big men in Thompson, and Vareajo (assuming he comes back healthy), not to mention another high pick this season.

Agreed, it's these 2 teams. Indiana and Chicago will be tough outs in the East because they play defense, and NY will win a game or two on the back of Anthony, but Miami is clearly the elite team in that conference. In the West, it's going to be a dogfight with Oklahoma City, the Clippers and Spurs primarily, but teams like Memphis will battle. Still, I see SA as a great regular season team who will lose to a more talented team (Thunder and probably the Clippers).

If Miami lost James, the conference would be wide open. I don't think there would be a clear favorite, but Miami would be in the mix.

As for Wade, yes I'm quoting stats, but they build a convincing argument that he is still an elite player. Yes, he does look old, but I don't think he plays old.

Vareajo is injury prone, but he's improved a lot as a player.

Wade is a top 20 player, that's just not accurate to say otherwise.
