Maybe, but the ship was sinking fast while Jason was still there.

getting back to the original topic, yes B and B has jumped. They are kind of at the point now where North was several years ago. They need to find a new and creative producer who they will trust to present original ideas and stick to those ideas on the air.

B and B were great in mid days ad libbing. They seem to have lost that ability. Time to find a new direction.

Shit has gone bad in that Studio.

Was Goff the glue?

like Curious said, it was already going bad while Goff was there. Jason added an element of fun that disguised some problems.

I don't understand Mitch's loyalty to this show. It has never been a big ratings grabber and certainly never carried other shows. Send it back to its roots in mid days to see if it can return to its glory or blow the thing up, give Bernstien mornings and give Terry some kind of senior host status like Doug used to have before they phased him out. Terry is fun. He could do well as a roving co host.

Terry can be fun in small doses and is an absolute show killing disaster (not as much as BernSTINE, but close) on B&B. His best times are with other hosts.

I agree with you being perplexed at Mitch's devotion to the shit show. Doesn't it lose the listeners that Mac and Meat hand off to them?

When I got into the show, I always felt that they were real in a way that sports talk generally wasn't. They didn't take opposing stances for the sake of taking opposing stances, they didn't do wacky bits, they didn't treat every dipshit caller like the very viability of the station depended on him. I have a hard time feeling that way now. How can you rail against Tim Tebow for aligning himself with hate speech in one segment and then be the champions of the 1% in the next segment? I suppose the two don't have to be mutually exclusive, but they generally are, so one way or the other, you're probably giving me bullshit. I can't be so melodramatic as to say I feel betrayed, but I do feel a little disappointed.
