We admit this. Everybody knows it. We know he detracts from the show. Nobody seems to say anything good about B&B, just that Harry isn't funny.

I guess I should expect nothing less than a strawman argument from fans of this this....whatever this show is.

Carmen is worse than Harry

Jurko is the only good one.

I disagree.

Carmen is Bernstein 10 years ago.

You really need to source a better brand of glue to huff.

Probably should stick his whole head down it.

It's the truth.

Carmen is as good as Bernstein was when he was hosting weekends.

Carmen is below average now, which is a major imporvement from his previous "terrible"

and he lets his Sox bias influence his thoughts waaaaay too much for my liking.

It's not just that Harry isn't funny. It's that Harry is an AWFUL radio person. It's not really a strawman. It's a legitimate reason not to listen to that show. He's that bad.

He's really not awful.

His attempts at humor are bad. His sports thoughts are meatballish, but that's no worse than any other host.

It's as if everyone has been trained like Pavlov's dog to react to Harry like he's worse than Hitler.

Harry's attempts at everything are bad. He makes Leery Holmes seem like acceptable radio.

an insurance guy talking about how 9/11 really sucked for insurers

This happened?
Yes, though it obviously wasn't why they brought him on. He was there to talk about insurance policies for college athletes for career ending injuries. For some reason, when talking about the price of these policies, the guy started talking about how expensive 9/11 was for insurers because of how rich many of the people in the towers were and how they had big insurance policies. He'd then have clients call him and ask why his insurance rates were bigger and he'd tell them that they had to recoup the payouts from 9/11.

In context, it isn't quite as bizarre as it sounds out of context, but it was still bizarre.

That interview was painful, both in context and in B&B trying to sell how interesting it was.

If you don't know, ain't nobody got no idea. And if you don't know, I don't want to know what else you don't know, because you know everything that needs to be known. Unless we consider unknown unknowns, which none of us can, by definition, know we don't know, let alone know anything about it.

Where's the drinky thread ...........

Does Reggie Rose speak for Derrick Rose? Dan's sources say who the fuck knows. But let's not let that get in the way of spending a segment discussing it some more. If anyone is interested in finding out the real answer maybe they should "ask tough questions" and get a response straight from the horse's mouth.

Spiral, Reggie Rose was out of line in his criticism of Bulls' management yesterday. He can be mad at GarPax all he wants, but the fact of the matter is the Bulls didn't have the salary cap space to make the kind of move to pacify Reggie. EVP John Paxson said so up the dial about 2 weeks ago that the Bulls didn't have salary cap wiggle room. That being said, the time has come for Derrick Martell Rose to start speaking for himself, even if Bulls' fans might be bummed that #TheReturn might not happen this season. In my opinion, Reggie needs to shut up and let the face of the Bulls' franchise speak for himself. DO IT!

I'm trying to follow but I'm not listening to the show and I'm not sure what your complaint is. Are you annoyed that they're still talking about it or that they don't have enough information?

I get the impression that Derrick Rose's statement wasn't as crystal clear as other SCORE guys had hoped. The Heat's dominating win over the Bulls last night appeared to be lost in the shuffle.

Terry's guys have truly reached comicals levels. He can barely utter a thought now without a mention of them knowing the latest thoughts and impusles of a Gar Forman or Phil Emery.
