That's a good question. I think Milwaukee has salary cap space to work with. Yahoo! Sports reports it's part of a three-way deal that also has Hakim Warrick going to Orlando & Josh McRoberts going to Charlotte.

Although the Bulls didn't make a deal, the Trib's K.C. Johnson has just tweeted that the Bulls supposedly talked to the Nuggets about G Richard "Rip" Hamilton, but Denver didn't pull the trigger.

As for the Orlando/Charlotte/Milwaukee deal involving J.J. Redick, it's NOT a three way deal, but 2 separate deals, says Y! Sports.

The Celtics have also dealt Jason Collins in the Leandro Barbosa deal with the Wizards. Jordan Crawford is Boston-bound, says Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. The deals are now coming fast & furious.

As it turns out, the biggest deal that was made before the NBA Trade Deadline occurred 3 weeks ago. That's the deal in which Memphis traded Rudy Gay to Toronto in a three-way deal that also involved Tayshawn Prince going to Memphis from Detroit.

I like that move a lot for the Thunder.

Yes. That's definitely a playoff acquisition. Defense wins championships.

I didn't even know the former Hog Ronnie Brewer was on the Knicks.

Chew on this. ESPNChicago.com's Scott Powers has just tweeted that Derrick Rose's brother Reggie isn't pleased by the Bulls' inactivity at the Trade Deadline and says that the lack of activity now plays a role in whether #TheReturn becomes #TheReality.

His brother should keep his mouth shut.

There wasn't a move out there to be made that would have made the Bulls better this year. I'm glad they didn't do the Bargnani for Boozer deal.

The whole "Relative of a superstar criticizing the superstar's team on Twitter" thing has become without a doubt the most annoying trend in sports over the past 12 months. If I was the superstar in this scenario I would go on Twitter immediately following one of these and say "Hey Relative X, shut the fuck up"

OKC, point well taken. I thought Derrick himself would decide if he returns from a torn ACL.

I also thought the Bulls could use a backup center with all the minutes that Joakim Noah has logged, not to mention the plantar fasciitis that surfaced on the last road trip. There simply wasn't a deal to be made, and the Bulls aren't alone. This trade deadline was nothing more than a sellers' market, and few teams were willing to buy around the NBA.

If it was a sellers market wouldnt that mean that a lot of teams were willing to buy. If there are a lot of sellers and not a lot of buyers, that would be a buyers market.

Hank, I stand corrected. Thank you for correcting me.

As for Reggie Rose, this is what he told ESPNChicago.com's Scott Powers, and this might be a huge topic of conversation on the NBA/TNT broadcast this eve of this Heat/Bulls' game:

Knicks have agreed to sign veteran forward KDdidit Martin to a 10-day contract, a source told Yahoo! Sports.

That team is getting very old. I saw earlier talks where they were thinking about acquiring Jermaine O'Neal in a deadline deal. I would hope they insist on Phoenix adding a couple wheel-chairs to that offer.

Even their rookie is as old as Kobe

According to the genius Farve Fan who berated me weeks ago for this. There is no buyer or sellers market in the NBA.....so straighten up and fly right

I'm very surprised Milsap didn't get moved, seeing as how his deal is expiring after this year. Could've tried to package him to the Knicks.

I too found it quite surprising. BOTH Jefferson and Milsap expire after this season, but ya, Milsap would've been the guy you'd think they'd move when you have Favors and Kanter backing him up. Both of whom have showed themselves to be pretty capable when given the opportunity.

I didn't realize Al Jeff's deal was expiring as well.

I think they'll do a Jefferson sign and trade and let Millsap walk. Millsap is gonna get a lot of money from somebody this summer. I'm thinking he goes to Boston.

The Thunder have indeed signed Derek Fisher. I thought he was in line to replace the fired Billy Hunter as Executive Director of the NBA Players Association.

Aaron Brooks has been waived by the Kings.

I wouldn't mind the Bulls taking a look at him for the remainder of the season. Probably no chance of that happening though.

Edit: Word on the street is that he is heading back to Houston for the remainder of this season.

Instantly better than any PG on the current roster. But you're right. Luxury tax nonsense would prevent this from happening.

And why has Daequan Cook been so insignificant? I kinda thought he had something left to contribute.

I'm surprised San Antonio doesn't make a run at Brooks. With Parker being out for a month, that team is going to have some troubles if he is delayed in his receovery.

PF Lou Amundson, we hardly knew ye. The New Orleans Hornets have signed the journeyman power forward for the rest of this season. Meanwhile, the Bulls will be without Taj Gibson & Kirk Hinrich again tomorrow in Sacramento.
