Not really anymore. They are hard hitting crusaders for the truth. I agree with you that I prefered the show when it was goofy and stupid but that show doesn't really exist any longer.

Regardless of how they spin it, I would still say the main goal is entertainment. It hasn't been very entertaining to me lately, but that's still the category.

The crusade thing often times is used to stir shit up and it works like no other sports show in town.

I like a mix of both. But I admit to not listening as often as I used to. Way too many good podcasts out there.

The funny/goofy.silly stuff would bring me back. Unfortunately, a good portion of that moved to Atlanta a while back...

Yes, really. Ask people what they think of when you use the term diddler and I suppose the #1 answer would be pedophile. If that is true then it is more than just hypocritical to be using the term for comedic purposes given the last 12 months of show content...including breaking up on the air. If even the hint of it is distasteful, this should be distasteful.

I am in 100% agreement that I like the goofy and TB's is goofy. I wrote that in my original post.

The Diddler's thing developed during their earlier crusades against molestation in the Catholic Church. The old skits featured high-pitched voices that have been replaced with beastiality stuff now.

It's pretty clear what this was. I don't understand why they'd want to change it and bring it back. I don't think it's very funny anyway.

I think the posts here are reflecting the tone of the show. The tone, at least since the Penn State story broke, has mostly been serious.

I don't think anybody who responded in this thread is really concern trolling to be honest. But maybe people are totes upset about the TB Diddlers thing. For me personally its just kind of a bummer that the Boers and Bernstine show kind of sucks now.

like I wrote earlier, after a year of accusing, haranguing, shouting down dissent and crying on the radio, it feels stronger than simple hypocrisy for them to handle the topic as they do. It feels like a straight out fraud. I'm not upset about it is disappointing.
