big lebowski and mary are about 15 years old. "liar liar" and the first "austin powers" will be older than 15 years this year. the rest are definitely older.

My top 2 movies are Will Ferrell flicks, Anchorman & The Other Guys. I don't think he's ever made a "bad" movie & I've seen Bewitched & Land of the Lost. While those 2 aren't top 10, nor they may be top 100, they were still enjoyable enough. I still have to see the Mexican movie.

The Other Guys was very funny. Wahlberg was very funny in that, too. I still think the "perfect" Ferrel movie has yet to be made.

Look, I'm a fan of Ferrell for the most part but Land of the Lost was one of the worst films I've seen in years. Seriously it was not even fun bad...just bad.

That's one of those movies that gets funnier each time I watch it. That's how all the Ferrell movies I do like are to me. I saw Anchorman in the theatre, and I liked it, but I liked it more when I saw it on DVD.

I think Dodgeball should be on the list of funniest movies of the last decade.

I hated Semi Pro the first time I saw it but when I catch 15 minutes or so of it on cable, I am mildly entertained. I just dont ever want to watch the whole movie again.

I admit that I'm a Jack Black fan, but "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny" is arguably the greatest comedy of the last 15 years.

Will Ferrell is hilarious. I'm not sure sure what some of you guys are looking for from your funnymen, but Will is the real deal.

timing is everything; i think if that movie was released at the time that the D were getting their due (2001-2003), it would've been an instant classic. i thought it was hilarious and it was a total bomb because it wasn't released until 2006, when everybody was moving on to flight of the conchords.

I think Seth Rogen has more funny movies than Will Ferrell does the past 15 years.

Probably Paul Rudd too. I think he's in every Rogen movie, and a few more

it is pretty rare that i meet anyone who dislikes bill murray movies more than me. actually it has never happened. "What About Bob?" and "Groundhog Day" are two movies whose popularity I will never understand.

I like Rogen too but isn't most of his best work as supporting characters? I know Ferrell has done a few of them too but besides Knocked Up and Pineapple Express what else is there?

FF and RPB brought 2 names into the discussion whom I would have named if youre asking for who has been funnier in the last 15 years, Rick. Just because Farrell has made a lot of movies doesnt mean I have to think he's funny. Its my opinion that he's not, some people think Sandler is hilarious too, I don't. Lot of people will disagree with that ( obviously). I dont think opining Farrell isnt funny to be that controversial a stance.

It's useless without context though. Maybe you just don't find anything made in the past 15 years to be funny. Maybe you miss the days of Bob Hope and Benny Hill.

There is a big difference between you not enjoying something and universally declaring that it sucks. That's really all I'm trying to get at.

A) they're funny, and B) they don't involve bike racing.

I think the cool thing is to dislike Will Ferrell because of the perceived oversaturation for a while. The guy is funny as hell and has been in some hilarious movies.

The Other Guys is one of the most underrated comedies of all time and needs to be watched about three times to fully appreciate it...

Funny you mention 2 old time comedians. I feel Farrell is basically Jerry Lewis without the goofy voice. Im sure he's huge in France as well.

Let's be fair. You credited Will Ferrell with Wedding Crashers.

I just like Rogen's work a lot more than Ferrell. I loved him in Old School. Liked Anchorman and The Other Guys, although not as much as most here do. I'll pass on most of his other stuff. In general I dont find him to be that funny in other stuff. I thought Elf was terrible. Rogen's worst movie is probably Zack and Miri Make a Porno and I laughed at that much more than the bad Ferrell movies. It's just a matter of preference. I dont look at it with how many funny movies have they each headlined. I look at it more like half the time I see Ferrell in stuff I dislike it. That almost never happens with Rogen in his supporting roles or main roles, except for a few exceptions.

This.

I've soured on Ferrell just because he basically played the same characters in movies for nearly 10 years straight. So when I sat down to watch The Other Guys, I was expecting Talladegga Nights Part 6. But the movie was probably the funniest thing I have seen i nearly a decade. Great cast, great dialogue, great everything.
