In the Trib today and on with Mully and Hanley. Top three LT prospects will be gone by Bears pick. Top 2-3 FA's will be tagged or retained. What remain are worse than Webb.

I felt like stepping in front of the train after hearing this.

There's gotta be a plan B. At least bring in some competition for Mr Softy.

Exactly, just speculation. No one knows at the end of Feb who will be available at the NFL draft when the Bears draft.

The Jets just cut a LT that was a second round pick. He can't be worse than what we have.

Pompeii isn't as plugged in as he would have you believe and it is much to early to say who will be gone by 20. Lane Johnson is an intriguing and at this moment I would be interested him as a LT at 20

Get used to Webb serving a suspension.

Quote:
Chicago Bears offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb was arrested after police found marijuana in his black SUV when they pulled him over on I-57 for speeding in downstate Pulaski County, officials said.

Webb's 2007 Ford was clocked at 11 miles over the 65 mph speed limit about six hours south of Chicago Sunday evening, according to Paula Pilgram, executive secretary for the Pulaski County sheriff's office.

After being pulled over near mile marker 16.5 at the tip of the state, police found less that 2.5 grams of marijuana, Pilgram said, reading from a police report.

That is not exactly Sam Hurd weight he was carrying shouldn't be a huge deal.

I know. 76 miles an hour on the open road is nothing. Still though. This guys sucks.

I thought he got charged with the sprint plan (PCS, aka possession of a controlled substance) along with cannabis possession (a misdemeanor). I wonder if he had a little boogah sugah or... shit, prolly something prescription. I think if you have Xanax and you're not prescribed it then it's technically a PCS.

If only CSFMB had an intrepid reporter to let us know such important details.... drat.

He was that close to making it across the border.

Think anyone fucked with him at the county jail?

This is the 2nd typo I've seen in a Chicago Tribune online story in the last two weeks.
