Hmmmm...perhaps I'll rack it later.

BTW, the reason for so few YouTube updates is because this show is not giving me much to work with.

I hate to say it but if Derrick wants to win anything, it won't be in Chicago. He should be looking at Chris Paul and saying, "This is what I need to do." Chris Paul has always been great, and he was on some good New Orleans teams that went to the playoffs, but they weren't gonna beat the Lakers, SA, or Dallas.

Chris Paul isn't winning a title anytime soon either.

Why does Rose have to leave? Why can't someone join him here?

Surely you couldn't possibly think the Bulls are as close to winning a title as the Clippers are. The Clippers are amongst the best teams in the West and could get to the Finals this year.

And why do you think anyone would join Derrick Rose in Chicago? Two things have been clear over the years, especially with the Gar/Pax regime:

1. Free agents don't want to play in Chicago.
2. The Bulls are not willing to deal their "core" players in a trade.

#hamstrung

Neither is winning a title unless Durant and Lebron both tear Acls.

Specifically, their own ACLs.

They came back from break with 76ers' HC Doug Collins' press conference from last night's clunker vs. Orlando. Turner Sports, here he comes?

The Bulls with a healthy Derrick Rose are just as close to winning a title as the Clippers are and would be better than every team in the East except Miami.

Kid, the comparison to New Orleans is borderline insulting. They had no money to pay other players because the NBA owned them by the time Paul left. That's as unstable as it gets as a franchise. And Deng, Noah, and even Boozer were better than every player left on that team. Rose isn't going anywhere, it benefits both the team and him for him to stay.

I forget which day, but last week Bernstein had some racist comments that were unfortunate of which nobody on the show called him out.

That's an idea for you. Set up an entire section on youtube of Bernstein being racist. You could also set up a "Drinky says stupid things" section. And a "Drinky's bad attempts at humor" section.

Ok. But with Rose back and a Boozer that's one year older they would still be the 2nd best team in the East. They still need a legit #2, not Rip Hamilton.

You have ridiculous timing. Bernstein & Matty just had a combination of both 2 minutes ago.

Semantically speaking, Rip Hamilton is indeed a legit #2. After a big bowl of chili.

I didn't think they were better than the Bulls, but the Pacers appear to be stepping forward as the second best team in the Eastern Conference. Might Indiana be on the verge of pulling away with the Central Division? They now have a 4 game lead. Not so sure even Indiana can overtake Miami in the East entirely.

They'll have a lot more flexibility if they would just amnesty Boozer already. Turn Boozer's money into a max contract guy. This team is a lot closer than the naysayers in this thread are implying. It's as if people aren't realizing the Bulls lost an MVP candidate for the season. The Thunder and Heat would fall off dramatically without Durant or LeBron. The Clippers looked like the Wizards without Paul. You can't tell me their supporting cast is clearly better than Derrick's. They certainly didn't play anywhere near the level the Bulls do when both teams miss their star PG.

You don't think the Hornets were similarly constructed to the Bulls when they had Paul, Chandler, West, and Peja as their core? That was a very Bulls-like team. One really good player, a bunch of decent players and no real trajectory to a title. The very definition of a middle-of-the-road team.

That team also had no bench outside of Jack and a much worse coach than Thibs. And an owner who was shedding payroll to sell the team. If you took Noah and Boozer and just released them, then replaced Thibs with a guy like Bernie Bickerstaff and had Reinsdorf come out publicly saying they aren't gonna add salary because he's trying to sell the team, then I think it's be comparable to the New Orleans team Paul left.

George Shinn, the former owner of the Hornets dating back to when the team was originally in Charlotte back in 1988, tried to sell his majority stake in the franchise to another man, Gary Chouest. Gary bought a 25% stake in the New Orleans franchise in 2010, but talks stalled due to the team's financial woes and the NBA took over control of the team. Saints' owner Tom Benson bought the team last year for a reported $338 million.

According to wikipedia, it wasn't just financial woes regarding the Hornets' franchise that dogged Shinn. The former owner of the Hornets was accused of sexually assaulting & kidnapping a Charlotte woman back in 1999. It was all over the former CourtTV, now known as TruTV, and Shinn admitted that he had 2 sexual relationships outside his marriage. He's never returned to Charlotte since relocating the team in 2002 to New Orleans.

They think athletes all make SO. MUCH. DAMN. MONEY. that they can afford a driver to cart their portly asses around 24/7/365. What they don't think about is that the lifestyle a good % of these guys live costs enough to the point where if you're going to pay for having a social life or having a personal driver you're obviously gonna choose the former.

Again, this is just them trolling the audience hoping that somebody dares to chime in and disagree so they can use their arbitrary 50k watt perch to smack them down. Do you think it's a coincidence that callers sound as tinny and shitty compared to CRYSTAL CLEAR B&B despite all the advancements in telephone quality over the years? I mean comcast, for one, when they stopped renting lines from AT&T went to an all-digital promising better sound quality.... how come you don't hear that on B&B?

cuz if all participants in the "conversation" sounded exactly the same it might give the caller a chance.

Did any one of those callers say the Bulls don't need a second player? I don't recall hearing that, but Terry mentioned they all did.

That is true as well. Don't the Clippers have some decisions looming? Not just Chris Paul, but Blake Griffin, too.

The real question is what does the team do with Walt William's Neck's guy Vinny.

I know I am veiwed as a troll ...gives us a cogent thought WWN blah blah blah.....let me throw this out...do the Clippers win or are a better team with Thibs??????

I just find it interesting how Bernstein as a Jewish man completely disregards the passage in the Torah forbidding homosexual sex and says those who believe the Bible are using it merely as an excuse to discriminate.

I think they'd actually be worse with Thibs.

He is a control guy, whereas Vinny lets the players go out and recreate.

I doubt BernSTINE has ever read the Torah and if he has it was when he was a little lad thus he remembers next to nothing.

I think what he means is that people merely point to religious texts in order to excuse their bigotry.

But that's really all spin. They essentially call anyone who disagrees with them a bigot. Homosexuality is against the religion of Christians, Jews and Muslims. Bernstein is basically calling all followers of the major religions, who agree with their church's (or synagogue or mosque) teaching on homosexuality, bigots.
