The Hawks take their 19 game point streak into St. Louis to take on a Blues team that we all know and hate. If you're a casual hockey fan and don't get why you should hate these guys then let me fill you in.

1) They're the St. Louis Blues. The franchise that's been total assholes for 10 plus years now.
2) They play boring, trap hockey. Trap hockey is bad for the game.
3) David Backes. We all hate Backes but no one hates him more than Curious Hair and since he wears the C in this section, you should respect his hate.

The Blues have been up and down so far this season. After Halak went down early with an injury, Brian Elliot proceeded to stink it up. There was already even some question as to whether Hitchcock's system that comes with a shelf life decided to expire earlier than expected this time around. Now that Halak is back, things seem to be slighty better for them but they're still very inconsistent. This team still doesn't resemble the team from last season. As for Halak, he's in net tonight and he's 4-0-1 this season, posting a .911 sv% with a 1.69 GAA. Crawford is in net for the Hawks. He is 8-0-3 this season with a .941 sv % (Holy shit) and a 1.50 GAA.

The Blues are sitting at 22 points with a 10-6-2 record. Adjusted record is 8-7-3. Home record is 4-4-1.
The Hawks are sitting at 35 points with a 16-0-3 record. Adjusted record is 14-0-5. Road record is 8-0-2.

Bolland is out for the Hawks.
Steen, Mcdonald and Tarasenko are out for the Blues.

Every team has been playing the Hawks 110% during this streak. You know it won't be any different with the Blues. Hopefully the Hawks match their intensity and keep this thing rollin. They better not fuckin lose on a thread I made.

Let me add that it seems to me that the Hawks seem to have gotten off to a really slow start in the first period after a layoff so far this season; hopefully it doesn't happen tonight, but I bet the streak ends with this game.

I didn't think I'd have time to do writeups for the games, and indeed I didn't this morning, so I said other people should instead. I'll probably watch the game at a Buffalo Wild Wings or something if they can be persuaded into showing it.
