I'm guessing 11" for the south suburbs. Schools have been cancelled, and we have some frozen pizzas on standby should things get desperate. And we are stocked up on wine, beer, and whiskey.

Im at work. I woke up late and had to drive. No one on the road.

IN. Northwest suburb roads are empty. Lake-Cook was an abandoned logging road or something. Caught every green

I think most Lake Co and Kenosha County schools are closed. I haven't seen a snowflake
yet. The proverbial calm before the storm I guess. I am at work till 3 as usual.

I have 2 appointments later in the afternoon around 3pm so I'm guessing the doctors will be canceling their office days and I will be forced to stay at home.

I can't remember the last time I saw Lake-Cook Rd this empty. Was eerie. Hoping to cut out at noon and beat the worst of it.

3/4 of my office seems to have taken the day off or "work" from home. I don't think there will that many people on the road going home.

I'm guessing 10 or so inches for Lockport, IL.

Skilling is a drama queen but he was right about the Giant Mega Storm a few years back, right?

I would have to guess that everyone with kids is likely at home...unless there is already a stay at home.

Skilling predicted the 2011 blizzard 2 weeks before it happened.

He does that for every big storm. We got that storm last Tuesday. 6-7 days before there he was calling for 10+" in the Chicago area "potentially"

Worst weatherman in the city, and he proves in each and every day. He will be wrong yet again today, you'll see.

And btw, weather.com is saying that the further south you are, the more snow you are going to get so I couldn't care less about what Skulling says about the north burbs.
