Stop.

This is that one joke that some said I use too frequently, despite the fact that I probably haven't gone to it since 2011. I recognized it had run its course long before anybody had to tell me.

Phil, I asked for that mult to be deleted. You don't remember that? I voluntarily gave Frank the password/login so he could change it and I would no longer be able to access it.

Hey Mac:

My book is now only $2.99 for Kindle! Your listeners might enjoy it. Tell Speigel that he'd especially enjoy the second and third quarters of it.

Pretty sure that's his only shift of the week though.

He does updates every morning as well.

How often do you listen to 1000 exactly?

Usually in the morning. I can't stomach Mully and Hanley.

over the past year or so, I'm thinking Greenberg is the best sports show host in this city --probably in the country. Golic is brutal at times, though

I'm not actively annoyed by it. Which is what happens when I listen to Mully and Hanley.

Mac used to talk hockey/attend games/have Blackhawks content on his show(s) pre-2009. Recall he would try to get fans out for Hawks games
by noting it was fun/good environment to drink and not crowded--he called the UC "1901 W Madison".

True, the bits would sometimes be a piss-take on the sorry state of the Blackhawks franchise, one in particular would be to send a producer down to the Blackhawks store
on Michigan Ave and see if anyone came in.

That is sad.

I wonder what Murph is doing. I simply cannot understand how a guy with good ratings and a loyal following did not get picked up by some radio station.

Nope. He's the same nondescript guy he has been since his days at the Score. He has made a career off of looking good and saying nothing.

How much have you listened to him in the last 10 years?

He's certainly smarter than most sports radio hosts

That's a good way of putting it. I dont mind listening to M&M for a half hour or so. It's not a bad show really. But after a couple segments they start repeating themselves almost word for word, so at that point it's time to put on something else.

The main reason I find Greenberg to be a difficult listen is that he often seems to act intentionally obtuse, which might just be his role/character on the show. I don't recall him sounding that dense when he was on WSCR.

He also often sounds like someone who rarely watches sports. For example, last year he thought Cam Newton was the most magnificent thing ever to grace an NFL field, then this year he thought the same thing about RGIII and then Russell Wilson. While all three did look impressive as hell, he sounded like a boy-crazy 14 year-old girl talking about them. He just sounded...silly.
