I'd love to see a guy like Hanley post on here and prove that he isnt the problem with that abortion of a show. Conversely, I'd love to see Larry try to post here and get killed for some of the stuff he says and does.

I chalk that up to leaving the Score on for B&B and just waking up to it. I am pretty sure M&M ratings were higher when Mac was at ESPN.

I'm surprised that anybody from The Score could Tweet last night. I figured their thumbs would be injured from every one of them racing to reTweet LeBron talking about the Blackhawks.

I thought they were going to break the Twitter machine.

This has kinda been my take on it. Constructive criticism is one thing, but I'm sure most would have to admit that often times it goes way beyond that. And I'm including myself in that as well; I know I've contributed to that, especially when it comes to Mully and Hanley.

:salut:

This is the internet, though. That's just how it is now. If these guys actually cared about the constructive criticism, they would sift through the shit to find it. Maybe they do, and just don't post.

But to ignore a place like this, is really really stupid. You can't act like it's not happening.

Personally, I think it's about 75% Mully and 25% Hanley. To me, the show is always more enjoyable when Hanley's with another host. On the other hand, when Mully hosts with someone other than Hanley, the show is still just as bad.

See I would put it about 90-10. I think Mully just brings out the worst in every co-host. I want Hanley to get a new gig with someone else. I'd listen to Hanley and Bernsie in a second.

Yeah, Hanley co-hosted with both Boers and Bernstein at various times when he was a fill-in. I remember those being pretty good shows.

Do you like the actual show or do you listen just because Mike and Mike is so bad?

I know that I listen to M&H about everyday but only because I have no other sports options. I certainly dont 'like' the show but I listen everyday.

Hanley and Terry used to host shows together quite often in the early days of the Score. They billed themselves "The Young Sportswriters".

I prefer Mike and Mike because it's not caller driven and the fake laughs are at a minimum. However, there are a lot of sissy and fat "jokes" to deal with.

They'll eventually bug me enough to switch to M&H at some point this summer...and I'll switch back to M&M when football starts.

M&H could have a caller on that makes a great point but if they imply either host was wrong about something the caller is a jerk and didnt get what they were saying. On the flipside if a caller starts off with 'Love your show, you guys are the best show in Chicago', the guy could go on a 3 minute rambling rant about how Hitler was OK, just misunderstood and they'd say 'thanks for the call Bob, you made some good points there'.

No, I actually like it. It's Chicago sports talk, which I what I want to hear. ESPN flagship product blows. I liked when Mully used to do solo Saturdays and liked Hanley when he was with other hosts. Like them together also.

Well, to be fair to my guy Herb. He was met with some resistance last time he posted here. An example, here, from CSFMB's very own former Bear Brad Muster who seems to have a mild dislike for my guy. I feel like they got off on the wrong foot -

bradmuster07 wrote:
Thanks for the explanation of The Pulse once again you nameless, gutless, talentless, promotion-less mystery producer. It really wasn't clear to me what "The Pulse" was, because Larry never takes the time to explain it. These talking points are what I find truly comical about the filth you've been spewing on these boards:

- You're a gutless rat. You won't sack up and say you are, which is fine. Then don't run your mouth on this board if you don't have the courage to put a name to an opinion.

-You've got little to no talent. A child, a chimp, or a wooden bird on a swinging pendulum could all do what you do. Push buttons, and answer phones. The hilarity of the situation is you have been doing the remotes for "all these years." What, no promotion in sight, nutlick? Or do you think you hit the big time with your 10.25 hourly rate plus time and a half for holidays? You're the type of person who will never amount to anything...ever. You're as useful as nuthair, the Illinois Tollway, and Rosie O'Donnell all rolled into one ball of failure and worthlessness.

- As discussed previously, there are several of us on these boards with more intellect, career accomplishment, talent, and money than you. I didn't work to get my master's so some keyboard punching, worthless-assed chicken shit producer could insult my intelligence. Don't throw out the standard "Those who get it" line of b.s. The majority of the people here do get it: The show sucks. Hampton is a stuttering, incoherent ape, and Larry is flat-out annoying. If I mistakenly flip to the score during their timeslot, I flip the radio down the dial quicker than you can say "Palehose has an Associate's Degree and makes 17k a year." Most of us don't want to be spoon-fed this radio show for one reason: it sucks, like your bi-weekly paycheck.

Summarily, if you don't have the nuts to say who you are, or brain one in that huge, disgusting melon on top of your head to call a spade a spade and admit the show is a total clusterfuck, then don't come on these boards flapping those c-nt lips of yours like you're wiser than the rest of us mouthbreathers. If you feel like discussing your opinions with me one-on-one, in a personal setting where words have to be backed up and you can't hide your bitch ass behind a keyboard and monitor, PM me and I'll be more than happy to oblige. You're a fucking tool, Palehose. Now go cash that big paycheck of yours, tough guy.

Probably not but when you open your CSFMB career with this gem:

palehose23 wrote:
Poor posters on this board who have nothing good to say about Laurence (I know you guys are all immature and refuse to call him by his given name). I bet most of you are one of those bad callers who didnt have an original thought and Laurence hang up on you so you have had it in for him since. I have one question for you guys, if you hate him so much why do you keep listening? And don't tell me you don't because every time I browse this site every person pretty much has the transcripts (from Burrelle's of course) of the Hamp and Holmes show.

Full disclosure, I am one of the producers at the Score so you can start bashing me also (after you spend 2 months figuring out which one I am)

....You are kinda asking for it

It really is beyond comical how The Score employees have convinced themselves they're on a higher level with sports.

Yeah, thats why you got hired as an intern, because of your massive sports knowledge, it has nothing to do with the fact that you're willing to work long hours for little or no pay.
