Also the problem with Mania, we had Cena-Rock last year and as they try and tell you the Rock will stick around, the thought is Cena will win.

We have already seen Lesnar-Triple H, should be building off that Lesnar broke Triple H's arm and he was ready to retire, kinda like Triple H coming back after that, I don't know how there really building that match yet.

Punk-Taker, Punk is losing every big match and had to win a 4-way to get the match, and not many people believe Punk will win.

Swagger-Del Rio, Swagger may have a good gimmick going, but comes back the week before Elimination Chamber and now is facing the champion. That could be the best build for a Mania match, but may have to watch Smackdown for it.

Why are they having a Ryback-Henry match on Smackdown, that's ur Mania match, could see something happen there.

This Indianapolis crowd is hot. You can see them staring at the action likes it's a set of car keys jingling around.

Not as long as Wrestlemania X-8 still exists. Rock/Hogan was the only match that had a real build. Edge and Booker T had a feud over shampoo. And Jericho? Oh man, there has never been a champion to get his nuts cut off like Jericho did in that feud with Triple H.

To push the WWE app, Punk probably empties it, which you would have seen if you had the app.

Outstanding. That could not have been handled better. Punk v Taker is going to be the best thing going into Mania. Book it.

Seriously the only really decent angle right now is Punk vs Taker. I know I shit all over it last night and since they started the program but this all of a sudden has the most heat. Vince killing William Moody was a brilliant way to get this angle over.

I'm guessing Brock Lesnar is going to legit paralyze HBK now to get over the realism of that feud.

Wins and losses don't matter especially for heels. Punk hitting Kane with the urn and mocking Taker was 100 times stronger of a move than a win over Kane.

WWE doesn't book heels strongly if they weigh less than 250 pounds.

I, ah, I'm going to try to handle this one. First, we are many weeks away from Mania. People will be complaining in a couple weeks about the lack of, or excessive, speed to this feud. They abused Punk in a big way with that nonsense 4-way deal. I'm amazed he agreed to it. It was setup to build him a bit after a couple losses. But it was shit on, as it should be. CIJ made a joke, but it wouldn't shock me if Vince killed Paul Bearer. You now have a personal issue on top of the streak. This is going to be amazing.

Heels, in any era, are booked strong when they need to be strong. They're booked as guys that run from a fight when they need to run. They're booked as guys that need help from outside interference when necessary. Punk has done all of it in his heel run. He'll look awesome during the match with Taker, and he'll lose. It will probably include all of the above elements. At the end, he'll be a bigger star, and will always be a main event guy.

So Basically tonight was, since we are a couple weeks away,to start the feud and get heat on Punk for the match, not to sell Mania right now, do that in an upcoming Raw.

Like have Punk do the GTS on Taker, do that a week or 2 before Mania.

Then that makes sense to me.

When I read how this is being a bad build for Mania, maybe we want the stuff to start now and not just get heat on the guys, like Lesnar taking out the New Age Outlaws.

Report: CM Punk Was Given the Dreaded “X” Symbol During Last Night’s RAW; May Be Working With an Injury

Posted by Brett Clendaniel via PWInsider:

CM Punk has been known to do it before, and now he may be doing it again. It seems that CM Punk is hurting from an undisclosed injury and attempting to work through the pain. PWInsider posted the following observation from last night’s CM Punk vs Kane match:

“It should be mentioned that about half way through the Punk/Kane match, Chioda threw the “X” sign to the trainer while checking on Punk, as he laid in the floor. The trainer ran over, out of camera view, and spoke to Punk. This happened about 3 times during the rest of the match, with Chioda subtly giving the “X” sign to the trainer at ringside each time. Before Punk stole the urn, he spent quite a bit of time with Chioda and the trainer directly in front of the announcer’s table. It appears he was working with a legitimate injury.”

As of right now, there is no official confirmation of an injury to CM Punk, but it seems as if there is something bugging him. We’ll update you as we receive it.

I really like the idea of Punk being able to take time off after Mania. Let Fandango carry the show until SummerFest or Survivor Series.

Well that's just fucking great. The guy that's gonna have to carry the Undertaker through the only interesting match at Wrestlemania is hurt.

I should put this in the RIP thread but I don't feel like it.
Paul Moody was one thing above everything else, consistent. He came did his ob to the best of his abilities. I do not think I ever, and I mean ever, thought he was just going thru the motions no matter how lame or fucked up the thing he was doing was.
