I shot them a text. We shall see.

They just played Watchtower and it reminded me of the time some Score guy (I want to say Brian Paruch? Mike Bloomberg?) played it coming out of a break and let out a big "YEAHHH." Good drop for a while.

Sad that I knew the back end of the twofer would be "Purple Haze." I even sang the first few bars beforehand. They always paired "Don't Fear the Reaper" with "Burnin' for You," I remember, because honestly, what else would you play.

Paruch was underrated as far as giving good gaffes.

I think pittmike is originally from Chicago, south side in particular. Just works (teaches?) at the University of Pittsburgh.

WOW! Wouldn't be shocked if the other offensive linemen on the Bears' wish list are crossed off, too.

He probably is, but he wasn't much help the first time he was in a Bears' uniform.

Adam Harris in that previous update said the Boston Eagles. No reaction from the guys? Mitch's boy gets a lot more leeway than the Schusters of the world.

I like this move alot for the Bears. Big target with decent hands and is unafraid of getting his neck tattoo'd

I don't know how to feel about this. Reeks of a guy who played hard for a contract...but immediately obviously better than anything they've had.

So who's cut?

Do these guys NOT have stuff written out before they go in the air? That and "San Antonio Holmes" is kind of embarrassing.

As far as I know. I think it's safe to say when George Ofman did updates a long time ago, I think it's safe to say a "she" really wrote Ofman's material back then, let alone now at WBBM Newsradio.

Why do you say that? And you doubled up on "I think it's safe to say." Gotta keep an eye open!

Caller: I would have preferred Jared Cook, I think he's a better receiver and maybe--

Dan: Bennett's a better blocker.

Caller: I understand that, but if you watch Jared Cook--

Dan: What do you mean, "watch Jared Cook"?

Caller: On TDs that he scores, I noticed--

Dan: You're talking about highlights!!!

Caller: So? What's your basis for thinking Bennett is a better blocker? You watch a lot of Giants games?

Dan: [sigh] This is going to be all afternoon, isn't it?

Maybe it'll blow Bernsy's head to a point where Boers finishes the show himself.

Speaking of which, get ready for solo Boers...albeit for 55 minutes, according to the 670thescore.com schedule in advance of Cubs/White Sox in Glendale, AZ Friday afternoon. I'm not making this up!

Guys, that what George always says at the end of his final update, regardless if it was on The SCORE or on 'BBM..."That's all she wrote." I know they have writers at 'BBM.

"That's all she wrote" is a figure of speech. It doesn't mean that he has literally ceased to read the words a woman wrote.

Perfect example of Dan's trolling. Talk all hour about how things are going to break, engage fans and ask for callers-obviously knowing meatballs will call- and then attack said fans who you knew would call. This does feel like a Bears Monday.
