It's often said that commercials are better than the shows they are on. If there are commercials you REALLY like, this is the place for you. The Dikembe Mutumbo/GEICO commercial, complete with him wagging his finger like he did when he played, is one such example.

My favorite commercial right now is the Empire Beauty School commercial with the fine J-Lo lookalike (she actually looks better than J-Lo).

Also, I love the Everest and Westwood College commercials. Some hotties on those as well.

There's a State Farm commercial with the Clippers' Chris Paul & his brother...Separated at birth that looks very well done.

I can't believe they let Cliff work at State Farm for this long. I thought for sure the Bulls would offer him a tryout when Rose went down

The Bud Clydesdale one is awesome, but makes Houston Homer and I cry like little babies every single time.

I wonder if Fleetwood Mac gets royalties for the song "Landslide" in the Budweiser commercial you're referring with the Clydedales. That is a very good commercial.

Well, he'd be better than Nate Robinson & Marquis Teague.

YES! YES! YES! I'm glad someone other than me appreciates the talent in these commercials.

when she says she has things for him to do, then they show him cleaning the gutters or something, it's clear she means she wants him to fuck her brains out

Agree. Maybe they were clever when Burt Reynolds was cracking up Dom Deluise in the '70's. Now they're hackneyed.

As far as any Bob Rohrman ads? I like my stroke victims in the nursing home, not on tv/radio. Those last years of Dick Clark were reprehensible.

That's a good one, too. It doesn't have to be restricted to favorite commercials from now. You can blast from the past if you want...

I like the AT&T commercials with the guy sitting in the classroom while kids say obviously non scripted answers.

Frank, I saw a similar commercial during the NCAA Tournament with the same guy sitting there with Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird and other basketball greats and high-fiving them.

The one with the coyotes howling "potatoooooooooooes." I mimic it every time, which makes my chihuahua lose his shit and try to bite my face.

Yep. We have two, whose combined weight is just under eight lbs. Love those little jerks. Don't care about the stereotype.

A number of years ago one of the phone companies (either Illinois Bell/Ameritech or one of the long distance companies - this is the pre-cell period) ran two commercials. The one featured a boy and his father, showing clips as they grew older. The other featured a girl and mother, also growing older. Piano music was playing - the boy and the father fishing in a rowboat (I forgot the middle scene). Last scene the father was grey haired and delivering a record player to the kid who was going off to college. I remember ballet dancing in the female version.

Ring a bell for anyone?

It's probably a commercial you saw while in Europe.

you know what's funny...if you click on that to watch the ad, guess what you get to watch first? an ad. when i clicked on it, it was for prilosec which features larry the cable guy.

none of those ads amuse me. i think it's because i'm beyond tired of the "kids say the darndest things" gimmick coupled with the fact that the guy they chose is obviously either an ex-groundling or upright citizens brigade wannabe.

Heartburn medication is right up there with cowboys and apple pie as a distinctly American creation.
