Though it's better now, IE is terrible for anyone who actually wants to create sites that work well for all users.

Firefox, and to a lesser extent Chrome, have forced Microsoft's hand on this though.

However, in general, your sites will still look better on Chrome or Firefox if they are coded correctly.

I like Firefox and I know it's a memory hog, but I like the add-ons, specifically Ad Block Plus and Flash Blocker. I have tried Chrome, but it seemed somewhat foreign to me.

I have been a long time Firefox user. But I finally got sick of the way it was clogging up my work computer performance. I downloaded Chrome. The look and feel are foreign as MD notes above, but the performance is much improved. Also, Firefox was giving me tons of script and plug in errors. The Tribune site was one of the worst for that.

We'll see how Chrome performs over time.

I refuse to use IE and haven't in 10+ years. My Daughter just downloaded Windows 10 and she loves the new Windows browser that replaces IE, Edge. I'm a big fan of Firefox Mozilla.

I got a new Surface for work. Tried chrome, nope. Tried Firefox, kept crashing. Tried I/E, awful. Finally just asked the I/T guy what he uses: Opera.
He put it on and right now, it's winning. It's like Firefox from 5 or 7 years ago.

I will concur with the Edge love...Microsoft done good with that...

...it was hilarious to go back and read that exchange with Brick...funny thing is shortly after having that conversation I ended up switching to Chrome for other reasons and liked it well enough. However, it started giving me some issues right before I changed tablets so I'm going to let Edge be my go to browser for a while.
