I reflexively hate U2. Although I do enjoy both Acthung Baby and Zooropa. And I think I would like the Joshua Tree if I haven't been hearing it over FM radio for the past 25 years constantly.

I reflexively hate U2.

Well, then you're a dink. Great band. See, you even like Achtung Baby! And it's not U2's fault that The Joshua Tree has two all-time amazing songs on it.

Aw, I don't like "One," though! Why did everyone decide this was a classic? because it was on a departure album but still sounded kinda like the familiar stuff? Dumb.

I think I just scrolled through 3 pages, and this was the first reference to the show.

Maybe if they would do really good radio again like they used to, people would talk about it more.

I reflexively hate U2 since Bono "became" The Fly.

But, I still like their old music as long as I don't have to look at them.

Jacob's Ladder by Rush just came on my pandora. I like this song. I am glad I am listening to it instead of Dan Bernstein breakdown Martellus Bennett.

Why doesn't Dan call Rose and talk to him. He keeps saying someone needs to talk to him and explain to him he needs to play. Quit yelling at the listeners.

I would actually tune in to listen to Dan lecture Derrick Rose on the importance of him playing.

I could listen to U2's "All I want is You" over and over to reminisce over high school dances.

Golden Earring is my favorite two-fer artist because you always know which song is going to be next. If it's Radar Love you know Twilight Zone is next and vice versa.

I had switch away earlier, after that sequence I did the same again. They should just stick to talking in circles to each other, I don't have pay attention as they'll repeat themselves within the hour.

That or blame the fans.

Do these guys NOT have stuff written out before they go in the air? That and "San Antonio Holmes" is kind of embarrassing.

As far as I know. I think it's safe to say when George Ofman did updates a long time ago, I think it's safe to say a "she" really wrote Ofman's material back then, let alone now at WBBM Newsradio.

Not safe to say. Since WSCR's inception, George placed an emphasis of turning a catchy phrase over delivering accurate information. As time went on he became a too easy and frequent target.

In general I think the current update people are too lazy/preoccupied to know what they report.

Puss rock. The best the White Sox could come up when they won it all in 2005? C'MON MAN!

The song became a rallying cry for the Chicago White Sox in their successful run to the 2005 playoffs, when catcher A. J. Pierzynski and teammates heard the song being sung in a bar in Baltimore. The White Sox invited Journey lead singer Steve Perry to the team's celebration rally, where he sang the song along with several members of the team.

How do you get yelled at for praising the signing?

Usually it's one of those "So that's it? that's why you called? You called to say he's good. Thanks. Martellus Bennett: GOOD" deals.

The Loop just played "Spirit of Radio" and followed up with "Subdivisions"! Can there be a better Rush twofer?

The album recording of New Year's day is not nearly as good as the live version.

The Perfect U2 song is Until the End of the World.

Bono working the Jesus complex
Edge insane guitar work complete with signature distortion
Awesome bass line and Larry killing the drums.

Perfect

yeah...that song takes a while to get going (Until the End of the World), but the lead is absolutely outstanding. Great album too. Except for that song about New York, hate that one.
