My initial response was to this, but it wasn't solely tell you they suck. Maybe re-read the thread starting with the post I quoted. Your responses since then make it sound as if somebody else created this thread to bash Phish. It's ok that some people don't like Phish. It's ok that they share that opinion with you.



MSG is a famous sports arena, and is known by some as "the most famous arena in the world" because of one reason - that's how they (MSG) refer to themselves. Welcome to Madison Square Garden, the most famous arena in the world.......
I've never seen a concert at MSG, but I'd rather see a show at Metro 100 times out of 100 than any show at any giant sports arena if I had the choice.

Yes. Once to see Old 97's. It kinda reminded me of a single-level high school auditorium. But they had very good beer for sale.

That was a fun show. I watched the stream several days later. I tend to be a bit let down with their NYE shows the last couple years, but this was great. I want a golf ball. Definitely did not see Tweezer Reprise coming there, that was neat.

I think I am at an age where I could possibly appreciate them.

I know that Trey is amazing. I've read plenty of articles on him over the years. The doc of him and Dave Matthews in Africa was fantastic. But I think I could only name you two Phish songs.

Download "A Live One", then "Junta", then my favorite "A Picture of Nectar".

I think that a big one for you though might be Billy breathes... there's one you play on that album plus a lovely song called Prince Caspian.

I was personally a HUGE fan of "Rift" because it was dreamy and weird and jazzy and just got me pumped.

OMG I loved Rift. I sent the band a letter with my personal interpretation of the album and got a letter back from Trey, like a handwritten letter. It was cool.

Yeah man I think Rift is one of my favorites. Weigh is a great song, and I always dig Fast Enough and especially Silent in the Morning. I love Silent in the Morning.
Just a fantastic concept album. The powers that be won't put it up there with albums like Mindcrime but it's every damn bit as good a concept album as that.
