my bad, I was thinking about "Acrobat" and mixed up my albums...that's the song I was thinking of. The album definitely gets weaker at the end, although sometimes I like listening to "Light My Way".

I think the beginning and end are very ,very strong. It's some of the middle that drags.

-Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses. (I can never get into it)
-So Cruel (which I like but it fits more with the tone of the back part of the album.)

I think So Cruel is one of the best songs on the album. Long, sure but it tells such a good story and crescendos so well at the end. Yeah, I don't like Wild Horses so much...true.

Don't get me wrong, I like So Cruel but, IMO, its placement in the album doesn't fit.

There is another remix of Wild Horses with acoustic guitar and its pretty good.

I agree on So Cruel. Great song, but should have been last or second to last.

"Ultraviolet" is the climax of the album. It's the first time since War that they'd had an album build up to a song ("Surrender").

Ultraviolet is great. Its all great, really.

I love surrender and Ultraviolet is one of my favorites and it is especially good on the ZooTV Dublin bootleg, ZooTV Sydney and my favorite may just be the ZooTV D.C. show.

Anyways, So Cruel should be somewhere near the back, Who's Gonna Ride should be replaced by some refined version of Lady with the Spinning Head or cut completely.
