The Bears have scheduled a 1P press conference at Halas Hall to introduce the newest Bears' free agents. New TE Martellus Bennett & LT Jermon Bushrod will be introduced, and not only will Comcast SportsNet & CSNChicago.com carry the presser, but it'll also be carried live on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. Usually if it's during the "B & B Show", you know what that means, complete with random soundbites & silliness while the guys are talking. It's unclear if Bennett & Bushrod will join Terry & Dan this afternoon after the press conference, but here's what else the guys might discuss...

Instead of asking, or answering, the question of these moves getting the Bears closer to a championship? A refrain that is about as meatball as they come. It is easily asked and answered as to whether the moves get them closer to the playoffs. A resounding yes.

Playing in the toughest division in the NFL standing pat is the same as moving backwards, and addressing two of the more glaring needs means that this team, on paper, is now a better playoff contender.

Still, while I expect them to shout down most of those who call in to their show, regardless of what they say or think. I also expect them to revisit the Derrick Rose soap opera by asking and answering their own questions, as it seems that because Rose talks to everyone but those affiliated with CBS its a story that other have moved on from. Dan and Terry have their mysterious sources who tell them things, there'll be more on this, just because.
