It seems that everyone is in agreement, that cuts need to be made. But, as soon as cuts are made, the complaints start. Chas is complaining that a plant making weapons got shut down. Now, it's bad that we cut out flyovers? Cutting out non-essentials is exactly the place to start.

Who said the cuts are bad? (I dont count Chas)

We had a presidential candidate who said cutting defense was the wrong thing to do, and actually wanted to increase defense spending.

Some of the guys at bowling were whining about cutting defense, as well. Granted, these guys aren't a representation of society as a whole. These are the "tow the Republican party line no matter what, hardcore conservatives". The types that say global warming is obviously a hoax because it snowed in February.

I see.

I thought you were talking CSFMBers.

I agree. Its ridiculous. We should have gone over the fiscal cliff.

We have to take our lumps at some point

Air show? Buzz-cut Alabamians spewing colored smoke in their whiz-jets to the strains of "Rock You Like a Hurricane"? What kind of country-fried rube is still impressed by that?

I did my Federal and State tax forms on the same day.

Got my state, but not my federal yet. First time the State EVER beat the Feds.

Well, here's why:

That would be me. H&R Block, Education credit...

Sure. A software glitch. We're ready to believe you!

I AM SEQUESTOR. ALL HAIL SEQUESTOR.

As for the flyovers, it's my understanding that they are done as part of regular maintenance (you have to fly the planes every so often anyway) so they don't really cost anything. If that's not true I agree they should be cut.

Illinois tried pulling that shit with me last year. "We can't give you a refund because you didn't sign your form." Uh, yes I did. Here's a copy of it from three minutes before I mailed it to you bastards.

I'm about to make a complaint that sounds like I'm bitching about Obama but it's not him, it's everyone.
Dude has three caligraphers making $100k/yr each on staff. Really stupid. Again, just another drop in the bucket but isn't a full bucket full or small drops?

Nope, that is bitching about Obama!

He was going to be the guy that didnt spend on stupid crap and he has spent on just as much, or more, stupid crap than anyone. He has definitely spent more than anyone over all.

The Market is its own entity. The Government should not take credit or blame for it.

Here, I only recall Lipid having concerns, not his department if I recall, but people he knows.
