and hey Curious Hair, Wilco and Radiohead are the two most overrated band in the history of earth.

I'm not sure if Radiohead qualifies here. I dont think they are the best band ever or anything like that, but they are pretty much undeniably a very good band, and there's a lot of people who will say they flat out suck.

I dont hear that much but if its out there it is surely a reaction to the insane amount of praise they get.

I like Radiohead and Wilco but they are not at the level some think....imo

He met his maker, and he made Hank cry.

You can not like Oasis, Hank. Its ok. But fact is they actually were one of the biggest bands in the world in the mid 90s. I don't like Radiohead much at all, but I recognize that (for some reason) they are overly loved in Europe and the rest of the world, thus making them one of the biggest current acts in music.

Anyone other than McCracken posts that and Id applaud it.

But seriously Hank, dont turn to Cigarettes and Alcohol over this thing. I mean none of us are going to Live Forever, but you are Married With Children and I Hope, I think, I know that is all part of The Masterplan.

I know your tired of hearing My Big Mouth but if you look Up in the Sky and to the one who Cast's No Shadow, you will see that having a Supersonic night of Champagne Supernovas that starts with Digsy's Diner and ends with Fuckin in the Bushes is a very good thing.

Not an oasis fan or radiohead. You can't really bring popularity into it...Justin bieber is extremely popular.

edit: damn. Stones must have threatened to sue. It was totally cool as the site allowed you to pull out each instrument/singer.

I know I posted that a while ago. You can troll YouTube for some individual tracks still. Just listening to Merry Clayton is worth it.

CSFMB music authorities, does Sublime sniff top 20? One of my favorite bands and I've never met someone who hates Sublime...

Someone on here hates Sublime. Maybe shirtless driver? I forgot who, but I remember them making a big deal of it a couple years ago in some thread.

Could be me. I hate that band a lot. Wretched.

As for Radiohead, you have to consider they're the closest thing we've had to a Great Band since we shattered the monoculture into a million pieces. The release of In Rainbows, which, while it's not a terrific album like The Bends, OK Computer, and Kid A, was the last time I remember an album being an event.

Same here. When I wrote Zeppelin, Beatles, Who, Stones, I was just reordering Bryan's list to where I would put them. Pink Floyd is better than all of them except probably Zeppelin.
