Just man up and drive to Skokie or something. Being from Elk Grove I can say that they don't have much in the way of fine dining; whenever I'm back in town I try to give some local hole in the wall joint like Pete's-A-Pie the business cuz like, they used to employ a girl back in the day who needed to take her pills. She was the inspiration for the game "queef" which was like hide and seek, except this dude adam would loudly yell QUEEF to get her ready to find us, so we'd just go into a shed or something and hold the doors shut while she flipped out cuz she was all I FOUND YOU and someone would invariably be like NO YOU DIDN'T and she would freak the fuck out and start pounding on the shed doors for up to 5-10 minutes.

If she was at all clever she woulda gone and gotten a master lock and really fucked our little world up. Instead, the game of "QUEEF" lived on for like 3-4 more times with the same premise. And she eventually got her highschool/college job @ Pete's-A-Pie. I've got $5 for two slices and a RC for businesses like that.

Otherwise, dude, there's gotta be something in the bumpin city of schaumpton which I reckon you'd be all over. There's enough commercial enterprises around there that someone's gotta cater to management!

The Meijers off of 90 in Arlington Heights/Rolling Meadows sells Vienna Pastami in their deli which is usually pretty good. I don't think they do premade sandwiches, but you could probably cobble together the fixin's there, too.

Why wouldn't they?

Because my two hours of research today have made me realize pastrami is a rare find in the suburbs (outside of Naperville, Skokie, Evanston, and Glenview).

There is an amazing place in Libertyville for Pastrami and Corned Beef called Burt's Deli.

Nice. Will check it out.

It's really good - my buddy who is a EGV cop told me about it and it did not disappoint.
