That's update anchor Matt Rodewald, and he's been playing the audio of Gus Johnson's GW thriller for Illinois to beat Minnesota at the buzzer in Game 1 of the Big Ten Tournament during his updates. The same Gus who called buzzer beaters during the NCAA Tournament...until he left CBS Sports a couple years ago.

That's what Rodewald did when NBC5 did "Dance Friday" about a year or so ago at the end of their Friday morning newscast. The one that had Zoraida Sambolin before she left for CNN & Rob Elgas at the anchor desk...
