This is a comfortable listen. Not the Stuebenville stuff, which itself is eminently uncomfortable, but just having Terry fire away on idiots like these feels good.

I've long wondered if Terry has lost his chops, hence why he seems to coast through the daily shows. Clearly he still has the chops, and clearly he coasts through the daily shows. Dan needs to sit back more and Terry needs to come forward more, because this is a refreshing listen. So far. Energy, very little stuttering, points being made and a discussion that is actually flowing.

I think Terry is just happy to be on the Number 1 sports show in the demo and collecting a check at this stage of his career. He fought his battles a long time ago. Now he just shows up and makes weird noises and Dan discusses SERIOUS sports topics. It's not worth fighting the face of the station.

I've long said (and I think COF has backed me up) that Terry only does what he does with Bernstein to keep the peace. Terry does watch sports, he cares about college basketball, and he is a meatball. He just suppresses it when Berns is there. The real Terry always comes through in the absence of the Really Smart guy.

I heard Laurence Holmes mention this last night. The SCORE is carrying the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament via the Dial Global/NCAA Radio Network, which starts Tuesday, but I'm not so sure 670 AM is carrying every single game which starts in Dayton, OH.

The "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" is scheduled to return next Friday, which is Day 4 of the NCAA Tournament. The tour is supposed to resume at the Billy Goat, 1535 W. Madison St. with Bulls' tickets to give away. I thought I heard a promo late last night claiming that Matt Abbatacola will sit in for Boers. That can't be right...

Terry's sign-off was curious as he didn't say he would be back Monday but "some time later."

How often has Terry hosted by himself? I don't believe I have heard this during the 8 years I have been listening. He always had a fill in side kick.

No, Laurence Holmes will guest host the second half of the "B & B Show" from Real Time Sports in Elk Grove Village for the 5P hour (whenever White Sox/Cubs ends). Terry will NOT be there, and I think he's on vacation moving forward.

Zach Zaidman will guest host the nighttime SCORE from RTS starting @ 6P, as well as Wayne Randazzo with the latenight SCORE starting @ 10P, adjacent to where the much-publicized "Roast of Jeremy Roenick" will be going on at Belvedere Banquets. All I know about the Roenick Roast is that Saturday morning SCORE host, the Trib's Steve Rosenbloom, is supposed to throw out the first insult.
