Welp I'm starting to hear that he's actually dead. Granted I just made a thread about him being in critical condition, I ain't gonna lie, if dude's gonna die I wanna be the one who started the RIP thread. Vanity is the devil's favorite sin, after all.

So yeah, what is there to say? Dude sucks as a rapper... but he made it to the upper echelon of commercial rap and made millions doing it. Say what you will about his raps sounding like they're being dropped by a guy who has a dick in his mouth, say what you will about his effect on dumbing down the medium/artform of rap for future generations.... but he made it work for him. Like Jenny from the block he used to little and now he has a lot, but perhaps there's a lesson to be learned here: maybe sometimes when you have it "all" you don't really have anything, especially when you're ~30 years old and evidently seizuring to death out in LA.

Sad to see the guy go, even tho he wasn't my cup of motherfucker. But hey, maybe he was someone's blood money and he'll "influence" a new superstar to rise up and take rap into its golden age? C'est la vie.... c'est la vie, my friends.

Imma pour some of this 40 of 211 out to lil weezy, aka lil wayne... a guy who never claimed he was the greatest like drake, simply put cuz he wasn't the greatest.... but i'll be damned if even his haters won't remember the guy.

6:30 PM PT -- Sources at the hospital tell us Wayne is still in critical condition in the ICU ... but stabilizing.

We're told the prognosis is uncertain.

Wayne is sleeping right now ... which is odd, because he just tweeted saying he's OK and thanking people for the prayers and love.
