Used to be 13 left, 12.5 right. After surgery on my right foot 15 months ago, it's down to 11.5.

No one wants to hear about how your 13 inch pipe is down to 12.5.....except maybe KS.

Take up running. Your foot size will increase by a half, or even possibly a whole size.

I wear either a 14 or a 15 (on both feet) depending on the shoe. The feet themselves aren't mismatched so much as they're mismatched with the rest of me. I'm not even six feet tall.

I have a left one and a right one, so I think I'm good.

I was born with two left feet, and they had a nickname for me. They used to call me Loopy, because, you know, I would walk in little loops. With some therapy, I learned how to walk a straight line.

Well, for starters, the left one is a straight-as-an-arrow foot that always does things by the book and doesn't like to ruffle feathers while the right one is reckless to the point of being dangerous and shows blatant disregard for the rules. Factor into that that one is black and the other is white and I'd say that's quite a mismatched pair of hoofers! But when the stakes are high, these two feet will put it all on the line for the greater good, and for each other.

NBC is on line one.
ABC will only talk if you make the black foot gay.

You can't leave it at that....and believe me, it may be an "in the ballpark" comparison but I've dropped 45 lb plates on my feet before, it sucks. I also dropped a heavy nozzle for my lawn hose directly on my left foots big toe, right on the root of the nail.....that sucked too. Never a car battery though.

My feet are size 15 and look pretty similar, the only difference would be that my left foot has an arch that is too high and my right has a near flat foot. Both require orthotics. That difference was messing up my gait and screwing with my right hip and lower back.

Power went out after an ice storm New Year's Eve a few years ago- the battery on my backup generator was dead. I had a spare car battery in one of the other barns, and went for that to jump start the generator. As I turned to walk out carrying the battery by the strap, said strap broke off and the battery fell straight down, catching just the tip of the second toe on my right foot, which was only slightly longer than the big toe. I was not wearing my safety toed work boots, but just some sllip-on barn shoes offering little to no protection. Searing, intense pain ensued, and I was afraid to remove the shoe/sock because it felt warm and wet. I got the generator running and powered the house up then went inside.

Looks like the battery hit on edge, right at the last knuckle joint of that second toe and just exploded it- the skin was pulled off just a little and it wasn't really bleeding, but by then was swelled up bigger than my big thumb. A few days of ice and I was able to get my shoe on, but limped for a couple of weeks and the toe turned a real ugly black well up into the foot. I never lost the nail- it kinda stopped growing and now is more like a shield on the tip of the toe than on top. Overall, that toe is about twice the size of the left foot partner, and causes me to buy at least a half size bigger shoe in most styles.

The real question is do you put one sock then one shoe on, or both socks then both shoes?

I've done it both ways.

Where's that innuendo thread when you really need it.

Oh,...nevermind

HI, KS!
