There probably are. There's at least 6 in the DFW area alone.

Do they have Taco Cabana in DFW or is that a Houston thing?

They have it there, right down the street from where I lived, but I never tried it. It seemed like more of a sit down place, and if Im going to wait 10-15 minutes for Mexican food, Im just gonna go to one of the authentic Mexican hole in the wall places BRick was referencing. Is it any good?

I enjoyed it for what it was. It was sort of like a cross between a sit down and fast food. Like Culver's I guess.

Taco Patio in Lockport on 159th Street is pretty good.

Not all that expensive and you get something that tastes good.

Taco John's :puker:

They subscribe to the wonderful theory that salt isn't a seasoning but rather a flavor.

The Nacho Dorito Loco tacos are good.

The Cool Ranch ones don't taste like anything really. It's like a regular taco with just a little bit more seasoning.

 I agree. They try way too hard. It's just funny to imagine BK Headquarters saying "How can we create even one more thing worth eating? Can we put cinnabons on a burger?"
BK with another winner!

If you think a Whopper's too indulgent but are sick of chicken sandwiches, Burger King is offering a turkey burger for the first time. I'm with Dr Ken on this one - had one Friday night and it tasted like a stale taco basically.
