Of course, you could always just break multiple rules and end your sentences with an ellipsis, making people think you have more to say...

Yeah Hawger, back in the day when folks still used a typewriter that is what I was taught too. Problem is, in most instances I have seen it appears that only 1 space is being used. I will go back to 2 if it is clear that is still proper.

Actually, computers automatically adjust the space after the period to the proper distance between the period & the next sentence, ergo, unless you are still using a typewriter, there is no need to double space after a period. In fact, it's excessive. #FunFacts
