Going really old school.

Hey, despite ending "The Streak" (ugh) with that 6-2 drubbing, the Avs pretty much suck. Their home/road splits are very telling: I suspect that they're getting drunk on cocktails of altitude + fatigue, because they're 8-4-1 at home, but a mere 2-9-3 on the road. The condensed schedule is pretty much their only saving grace: it's allowing them to prey on especially gassed teams (like the Blackhawks having played how many games in how many days when they lost?), and the season ends at 48 games before they can keep losing more. Still, the game is in Denver, Duchene and Landeskog are dangerous, nothing is to be taken for granted.

Hawks are 23-2-3, 19-2-7 adjusted (45), now only less than four points over expectation thanks to dongwhipping the Stars (41.18), 8-2 last 10
Avs are 10-13-4, 9-16-2 adjusted (20), barely a point under expectation (20.88), 3-5-2 last 10

Hawks are 3rd in scoring at 3.250 (thanks Stars), 2nd in goals allowed at 2.036
Avs are tied for 19th in scoring at 2.519, 26th in goals allowed at 3.111

This game got moved to CSN+ because of #TheReturn, but the Blackhawks may just have a #TheReturn of their own.

Dan Carcillo might dress again because of that goal he scored against them a week or so ago!!!!

The White Sox had the Twins.......The Hawks have the Avalanche....at home they won 3-2 and in Colorado 1st loss 6-2 apologist say 3 games in 3.5 days the thin air ...I am saying these guys will play physical which the Hawks don't like .Looking for a 3-1 loss

Cute spin move in front of the net, but that goal was all Kane.

That goal was equal parts Stalberg and Shaw.

But Stalberg has a habit of missing the net.

Extra motivation, Pat?
Maybe.
but really I think this is what it looks like when a team outskills another by a significant margin and they're not completely fatigued.

Great start but Emery looks shaky which has me nervous. I think Hawks fans have said that to themselves every game he's been in though.

Well, except for Walt. Since he never really took a position he can say that he knew all along he was the goods.
IMHO he's been the benefactor of GREAT defense but he has played very well.

Bickell with another assist with the simple chip. That's 17 pts in 29 games for the guy who should never be seen in a Hawks jersey again.

If "Frolik goes hard to the net" you can rest assured a goal is not getting scored.

Seattle's kinda cool, but not quite the hockey hotbed - even in close proximity they refuse to embrace the Nucks :D

What sucks, though, is that unless I want to subject myself to the nearest Buffalo Wild Wings about half an hour away, I got no way to watch the game - not too many sports bars nearby that show NHL games. Oh, well, listening online to the GN call.

Colorado was once a good franchise, but has really gone into the crapper. I think this could be Sacco's last game if the Hawks blow 'em out. Then again, why can him now when you can wait until after the season?

Buy the NHL package. Plus 220 and 215 always have games on. Lightning and Flyers are on tv #3 in my cave.

Watch them get the Coyotes instead of Quebec City because, um, well, hey what's that over there

That bootleg site someone posted a few weeks ago worked well every time I tried it.

You need a stream for a hockey game? Name the game, I got it. (I said that in a cool guy voice too).

NHL package is only $50 this season so I considered buying it but decided to stick to my free streams. Some of the visual quality can differ from game to game but the streams are always smooth.

Yeah, I almost got the NHL Gamecenter Live package, but I've spent too much money as it is.

My cable provider doesn't have it and I really don't feel like changing to Dish or Direct Tv, whichever has it........but 50$ is pretty damn cheap.
