Hello meatpants. How have you been?

Spada.

Absolutely.

Nice work.

Just a passing comment Mac made earlier in the show. Candyman's whining the past 15 minutes about the Mac funded showpot is one of the many reasons why he probably threw it out there

I was surprised to hear Mac mention Spiegels expiring contract on the air, given that Mac knows that he can count the number of Meatpants fans on 2 hands. Surely Mac realizes that Spiegel was a poor choice for a co-host, hopefully he'll make a change. Replacing Meat with Jurko & Finji would be great.

Oh, gotcha. Mac has made reference before and especially so when Harry T. got fired over at ESPN. "No ones job is safe, you can make no predictions, nothing is promised...especially in August and July..."

That was interesting.

Candyman is terrible but I dont think anything Mac says means anything.

If anything he's politicing for his own contract.

I think he's happy with Speigs.

I know its crazy!

My god, he sounds like such a whiny little bitch when discussing the show pot. He was pissed that Mac and Shep didn't consult him last night prior to making wagers. Spiegel wants to bet on every damn game. It's obvious the dude does not have any experience in gambling. Loved the "I would have taken the over" after Mac said they lost the Bulls under. Would he have mentioned the same thing had the game gone under? Methinks not. Keep your 50/50 hindsight bullshit and shove it in your slingbox piss hole.

Does Mac like him like the way he used to say that he liked Harry? By that I mean that everyone knows he's full of shit...
I mean, did anyone really believe that he liked Harry? Does anyone really believe he likes meat?

Spiegel should do some shifts at XRT again. I'd listen, at least until he succumbed to the station mandate to play "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers eight times a day.

I think he likes Meat as he has started him as a producer or intern whatever so long ago. I really think the moment Jurko's contract is up we are gonna get Mac, Jurko and Spiegs. If all goes as I foresee Silvy and Waddle will eat into B&B's ratings and Mac will once again rule the main event.

That will be a great day, Pittmike! I would fly you in to to the Land of Lincoln to listen with me!

I would think having Meatpants and Jurko in the same room would violate building fire codes.

Seems to make sense to me but who knows?

I doubt Spiegel leaves unless Mac makes it happen. He's got a kid now. He can't be living in people's basements for 6 months at a time. The Gull may have beer muscles now but when the deadline starts to approach for his contract he'll transform into the obsequious toady that he is to land his new deal. Now, if Jurko came in, what kind of salary would he get? I'd think Jurko must make a decent sum. Would Der Schnore pay for a 3 man show? I'd cut Spiegs loose and sign Jurko. He can talk in vague generalities about Cubs baseball and the NBA and that's all you need for sports radio.

I don't want to hear any more about the candyman returning for another contract. He needs to go.

Its actually not that bad UMN, he has it written in his Tributo contract that he can do radio shows a couple times a week.

The "no compete" clause in Jurko's contract may prohibit him from coming over right away.

3 hosts and 4 producers might be an expense extravagance to be scrutinized.
