He was there. He was... well, strange. but I'm sure that Albert Einstein was considered strange too by people who did not have the capacity to understand him. His wife was quite lovely as well. I understand that he rubbed some people the wrong way. He also irritated those same people.

To Cairo: Dude, I was a happy little clam in 2010. I'll admit that late 2011 to most of 2012 being of foul mood. That's how I remember the board discussion going, Darkside. People had a good time from all accounts. Panther said he had fun. There were laughs, dancing, and even avaporizer which sounds cool as hell. I would have loved to be in attendance.

Look, some of us are strange. I'm sure I can be a little weird sometimes. But it sounded like Panther didn't like to be portrayed that way. I think the sooner everyone realizes that they are strange and incappable of pleasing everyone, the better off we'll all be.

Really would have loved to see that vaporizer in action. That sounds like a thing...

Something probably came up about 5 minutes before your ETD. But I digress.
Sure it was fun at the time. There was weirdness to be sure but there is weirdness EVERY year. I mean last year we were singing Oh Canada during the fireworks show and there was some drunk guy who was eyeballin various guests talking about driving routes to China or something. So Panther's Brand of weirdness was not particularly... out of line.

It was events in the following months, if I recall, that caused the retrofitted memories.

I will say though, for some of the guys particular complaints, I was not present and cannot vouch either way. For example, CIJ has some stories that I wasn't there for. So it is what it is.



I can understand how he wouldn't have wanted to be portrayed that way.
My only real commentary on that would be that the public perception of your persona is largely dependent on how you carry yourself in general. Rarely is someone's perception not the product of their actions... by which I mean that it's never really a giant misunderstanding, although, cases to exist I'm sure.
