Yes, CH. He's very proud of the fact that he's never seen one. People keep texting in, asking have you seen this or that, and every text is met with a "No" or "Never heard of it." The more I hear Matt, the more I realize how dumb he really is. His jokes are horrible. He's basically the Adam Dunn of sports talk radio, with the ridiculous amount of jokes on which he swings and misses.

Penn State and Matt Bowen pretty much changed the show from Smart Guys Bullshitting Around to Smart People Knowing What's Best And Right For Everyone.

I would put the total conversion to bad at about 3-4 years ago.

It started to seep in with the 2006 White Sox talk/debate/screaming about "Ozzie Ball," "Fire and Passion," "Grinders," "Bunting" among other topics. I think this is when BernSTINE went totally balls deep into 'SABR or You're an Idiot' mode. The full march towards what we see now began around this time.

I think it happened when Cutler was signed. The show at that point went from Dan and Terry casually talking about the Bears to pretending to be experts, dissecting the x's and o's, despite not really being good at it. I'd say 2009 was when the change started. I believe that's also the same year Berns started his Sabr stuff.

Agreed, when Bernsy discovered Baseball Prospectus and the meaning of WAR he went into total douche mode when discussing baseball.

I don't know of the total conversion but Bowen and Dan's newfound love of SABER was definitely a big part. Penn ST. finished it off.
