Stayed downtown...went to a Bulls game with some questionable people ...stopped at Plainfield on the way out today.

Well, I started Friday early as I needed to take a half day off. Prior to my yearly ear vacuuming, I swung over to Chasers and caught the end of the Wisconsin loss, which pretty much killed all my brackets. After the doctor, I headed over to get my taxes done. Finished off the day with some basketball over at Darkside's house and thoroughly enjoyed the company, the food (DW makes some badass burgers with mac and cheese), the beer (PBR), the basketball and "the thread that shall not be named".

Saturday started my new commitment to excellence. Did a few miles on the treadmill, a few miles on the elliptical, a few laps in the pool and a few beers. Sunday was pretty much the same.

I get to enjoy Sunday and Monday off this weekend before rolling into 72 hour weeks until May. Celebrated Palm Sunday, replaced the toilet in our main bathroom, and spent a couple hours wrenching on my truck with racing and basketball mixed in. Tomorrow promises a trip for new van tires, as well as cleaning out the barn to facilitate cattle loading.

Saturday watched basketball at my friends new house. His step son is Alex's age so they were running around crazy (fun for the whole family)

Today hung out with daughter and then girlfriend

Awesome weekend. Went out Friday night with the new coworkers, had a great time last night with everybody, and had a nice night tonight with the new lady friend.

Had some of the lady's family over on Fri, which was fun up until about 1am when one of her cousins polished off an entire bottle of whisky and passed out. Which was fine....we have the room and I didn't want anybody drinky driving. But then he got up the next morning, wasted a bagel for breakfast, and asked if he could go back to sleep for a couple hours in the basement.

No dude, you can't. I'm sorry. This is our home, and she is going out to lunch, and I'm going golfing. Yesterday, went out for breakfast, and spent the rest of the day relaxing at home with the cat and did some laundry/cleaning.

No, he didn't. Her brothers work at Kenwood, so they have all kinds of shit. They get these tester bottles so they both have like 20+ bottles of hard stuff, some pretty good, in their houses that have like 4-5 shots gone from it. So he drank some beer he brought, and then polished off a good 80% of the whiskey.

Don't mind people crashing at all. But once its 10am and you're awake along with everybody else, its time to leave.
