This was one of the more dickish things Dan has done. Beardown pretty much said it, but it takes some balls to be like "I'm not going to help you, I don't have to help anyone" as a guy who let his two regular producers turn a mic on whenever a thought entered their head, no matter how racist, insipid, or just plain unnecessary.

Especially when one of said producers apparently provided both the impetus behind and evidence for the show's groundbreaking "lolz white people do this but black people do this" philosophy.

I think one of the reasons Bernstein allowed drink and Goff to talk on his show so much is he enjoys hearing them make asses and fools of themselves. Bernstein thinks of them the same way he does his callers. As dumb ass meatballs. If somebody of intelligence were his producer, he wouldn't let him talk. That would be a threat to him. Idiots are no threat.

That might be true. But Bernstein and Goff took "Kill whitey radio" to an all new level. Bernstein did it cuz it's cool to be the white guy that says he hates white people. Goff did it cuz he's a racist. And he knows racism against whites is accepted in America.

Define racism.

Racism
Noun
1.The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as...
2.Prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief.

Correct. That goes to Bernstein's racism. But we were talking about the white hate.

I've always wondered why Seth Davis, a classmate, former co worker and "friend" isn't a regular guest on B and B. Hell, they are even under the same corporate umbrella.

Honest question: Have you ever spoken to Bernstein? If no, do you think he would talk to you? If yes, did he converse with you or trended towards ignoring you?

Follow up: Why do you think he wouldn't have a conversation with you?

It's "accepted" because it's meaningless. You have to look at where the power lies.

Don't really understand why these questions are being asked but I'll answer them.

No. Never spoken with him. I suppose he would talk to me the same as he might talk to anybody that approached him at a radio remote. Why would I be any different? If you're thinking he wouldn't want to talk to me cuz of what I post here, I'd disagree. I'm 100% sure he doesn't read anything here. I think he was only made aware of this board cuz of his producers. And if they cried to him about me, he wouldn't even remember my board name.

I have no interest in talking to him, however. Or anybody at the Score. What the hell would we talk about? What would be the point of talking? I don't want to bother anybody in person. That would be rude. I'm fine with bothering people on this board. That's not rude.

That's wrong, beardown. They ALL read the Board. Besides, he logged in to answer questions here once until Tall Midget ran him off.

Bernstien came up to talk with a bunch of board members at a remote last year. I was busy talking with bigfan and Joe Orr to care that much.

Fine. If he does read this board, Bernstein doesn't care what's written. I still don't think he comes here often if at all.

The only people who care what's said on this board are the hacks at the Score. Cuz they know they suck, they know they behave like bitches, weirdos and children and it bothers them that people here call them out on a public site. The truth hurts. This is the only place they hear it. Or it's the only place where they can't manage it, silence it or shout it down. They can manage callers, texters and their twitter/facebook people.

Dan probably does still read the board occasionally but he knows he's making good money doing a worthless job so he is more bemused by our opinions than taking them to heart like the people Beardown mentions. Guys like Goff, Drinky, Larry, Finfer, and the other timorous producer/engineer types are seeking to rise in the world of Chicago sports media. They probably get stroked off at work by Mitch and their co-workers. So, they come here and fret over the sanctimonious internet opinions of delusional borderline psychotics.

After catching his last 2 updates this question is still needs to be answered.

For somebody who tries so many jokes you'd think he'd run into a funny one on accident. I've never heard him do so. He's gotta be something like 0 for 1,087 in his Score career.

What do you mean?

You're saying he strings the joke along?

Why do you say that?

Are you referring to a joke like this?

A joke that he continues to say, even though it was never funny in the first place.

Is that the type of joke?

Right. It's either long-riding a horrible joke or playing the role of meatball for Bernstein. I don't think he'll ever stop this shit. He thinks he's cute. He thinks he's hilarious.

Drinky: Hey Dan, don't you think that Bears weather will help the Bears win this week. Hey Dan, I think the blackhawks should fight the other team tonight. Hey Dan, Dick Butkus was better than Ray Lewis. Hey Dan, If the Bears beat the Packers twice and go 2-14 it's a great season. Hey Dan, I want my coach to yell and screem more on the sideline.

Tanihill or Bernstein have to literally "Bitch-slap" him when he does this shit. I think it's the only way drinky will realize just how "nails to the chalk board" this crap has become.

I don't mind him riding a joke when it's a joke that mocks Scott in Davenport.

I think you've described most or some Score producers as some of the worst people on earth, or something similar, and you regularly mock their intelligence, salaries, job security, and talent. My question is: if the producers are as worthless and irrelevant as you claim they are, then why spend all this energy and time attacking them? I'm not really bothered by the criticism per se, I'm just wondering why you'd expend so much energy on people you clearly think aren't worth anyone's time, let alone yours. Just curious.

Because this is a sports radio message board and dumb producers talk on radio shows. Especially drinky. Goff before him. If they didn't speak, I wouldn't comment on them. If they didn't behave like like fools I wouldn't comment on them. I don't say anything about the new producer,Tanihill, cuz he doesn't talk much. When he does, he doesn't sound like a moron or feel the need to behave like a jack ass.

You deserved to be mocked and ridiculed if you're stupid and behave like an ass. That's kind of the jist of the B&B show, actually. I find some irony that the show's producers are actually as dumb as the callers they mock.

If you're a stupid producer and don't talk, I'm cool with you. There is nothing to say about silent stupid people. If you use Bernstein's show to display your stupidity, if you use Bernstein's show to act like an ass and then actually have the audacity to join Bernstein to mock and ridicule your very kind, it offends my sensibilities.
