Hi everybody I'm Jim Rome. The Bears just released Brian Urlacher, after 13 years of service. I'm Jim Rome, and even though Urlacher got paid for his donations, it was a slap in the face to the former pro-bowler and to me, Jim Rome. Jim Rome thinks Brian, who isn't Jim Rome, should have been offered a lot more for the things he has done in the past. I, Jim Rome, personally know all about needing to get paid for things I may or may have not done in the past. Even though the Bears will likely find another linebacker, it will not have the same impact on the team and his name will likely not be Jim Rome, so I see no point in getting rid of Urlacher.

So, Chicago fans, I know you are all complaining that Urlacher should have gotten paid, and Jim Rome is right there with you. We are like best buds. Good old pals. Listen to my show, the Jim Rome Show, with me, Jim Rome on it. Thanks for listening, this has been a CBS Rome Sports Minutes. Im Jim Rome, goodbye and I love everyone I just want one person to love me back.

I agree. Right up to the point where now its like Jordan playing on the Wizards. You hear flashes of the past brilliance here and there, but overall its a struggle to listen to.

Rome was put back on in the Peoria market a few years ago after being gone for a few. Listened about 2 days and that was enough. Same exact sound as the 1st go-around.

Why not replace Larry with Rome. 2 birds 1 stone!

I don't know what you're talking about, Jordan was never on the Wizards. He retired in 98' and stayed retired and let's all just leave it at that.
