Following the daily transition with Mac & Ben Finfer this afternoon, it's the "Sour 16" in the 2013 "Boers & Bernstein Tournament of Bad". Once again, listeners will be encouraged to vote for the worst in Terry & Dan B.'s annual parody of the real NCAA Tournament at TournamentOfBad.com.

As for the actual sports talk is concerned, might a friend of the program, Palm Beach Post NBA Columnist Ethan Skolnick, call in to preview Heat/Bulls tonight as the NBA Champs try to extend their incredible win streak to 28 vs. a shorthanded Bulls' team that likely won't have Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah & Marco Belinelli this eve at the Mad(dening)house on Madison? The last time the Bulls hosted the Heat February 21st, it was as bad as any of the sub .500 games the Bulls have lost to this season, a 86-67 loss complete with 27 turnovers.

Another topic of discussion is the following column from Bernsy. Northwestern has indeed selected Chris Collins as their next head coach, even though Collins' current team Duke has a biggie in the "Sweet 16" Friday vs. Michigan State, right here on 670 The SCORE via the Dial Global/NCAA Radio Network down in Indianapolis. Bernsy explains why "Collins Is A Risk For Northwestern" here:

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/03/27/ ... thwestern/

All that and a lot more between 1:15P-ish & 6P this eve.

I don't get the blogumn. I mean, I get that only having been a K underling does not paint a rosy picture, but ugh, it's Northwestern. This is as high-profile and prestigious a signing as they were going to make. Also, running down the failures of previous K assistants is kind of deflated by noting that Bob Bender is an assistant coach in the NBA. While yes, that obviously means that he has washed out of the college game, that's not really all that damning from the guy who worships at the altar of The Humble NBA Assistant Coach, who quietly toils in the shadows, enjoys five-star hotels, and is just waiting for you to have drinks with him so he can unload upon you a ton of stuff.

Danny ought to realize that the success/failure of Johnny Dawkins has nothing to do with Chris Collins one way or the other. He'd castigate a caller who promulgated dumb thoughts.

Yeah, or "there's no guarantee that Chris Collins is the same guy as Doug Collins."

I don't think it matters who coaches Northwestern men's basketball. They've got nowhere to go but up, regardless if they selected a first timer in Duke assistant/Glenbrook North H.S. star Chris Collins or someone who has actually succeeded elsewhere such as Harvard's Tommy Amaker.

Now, Doug Collins is Chris Collins's daaad, so what I'm wunnerin is...wuddif he inheriteded goin crazy on imself like dat? Do you think he learned it from his dad, or, ah, do you think it's, ah, genital?"

Parkridge Bob is light years better than Mike in Milwaukee.

I like Bob. He has an innocence about him. Mike in Milwaukee is just a fucking drunk. There's nothing special about that.

A scratchy-sounding Kerry Sayers moments ago said in her 1P update that the Chris Collins to Northwestern deal isn't done. That's what Chris' boss, Mike Krzyzewski, just told reporters a short time ago as Duke prepares for Friday's game in the "Sweet 16" in Indianapolis vs. Michigan State. Hmmm...

When I first heard that "I don't know" from Bob I lost it. Mike has never made me laugh like Bob does.

Mike from Milwaukee is out there, guys. I still remember when he put Barry Rozner in his place during a "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?'" live broadcast he & Bernsy co-hosted a couple of years ago around Thanksgiving.

Mike from Milwaukee burping in the phone nearly made me drive off the road. I had tears in my eyes from laughing on that one. Bob's funny too in his own way. Reminds me much of SHARK...

I could've sworn SCORE Production Director Russ Mitera also created a custom-made Mike from Milwaukee promo during football season a year ago.

Come join our (temporary) Silvy and Carmen bandwagon. We switch wagons next Monday to a fully-staffed W&S.

Thank you. Mike from Milwaukee is to "Boers & Bernstein" what Clyde has been up the dial on what used to be called "Roe & Garry"...

Woe & Dairy?  I thought ex-Sun-Times writer Jim O'Donnell referred to Terry & Dan as Weezie & Boo-Boo a while back...
