I have no idea what the fuck the title means but it sounded like something Curious Hair would listen to so I just went with it.

The Hawks have outplayed these guys two times only to blow it in the final minutes. I'd really like to beat these guys cause it would give us a 7 point lead in the conference with a game in hand. Hossa and Sharp are out but both have been skating and are close to returning. There is even a rumor that Sharp will be back sometime next week.

As for today, the Ducks are coming into this with a 4 game losing streak. I only caught the 3rd period of the 2nd game of their losing streak and they were all over Detroit when I was tuned in so I really can't give you a reason as to why they're slumping. I think they're a great team and a contender who's just on a slump and hopefully the Hawks can take advantage of this.

Emery is the confirmed starter for tonight. I think Hiller is in net for the Ducks but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Now lets all just chill back and enjoy Darkside and WWN going back and forth at each other.

Presumptive indie lyrics. That's a new one. I like it!

Ducks should win this one. They have our number (run and gun with us while also outmuscling us), and they can't keep losing like this forever. I wish they would, though. Getzlaf and Perry have been fucking exemplary in their poutypantsiness during this skid.

That whole sequence where they got the game misconducts was priceless

Yup, Emery tonight. Looks like Coach Q might have flipped the depth chart on the Goaltenders. Same thing he does every year.

My lips wrapped around cold Sapporos. NCAA on tvs one and three. Hawks on the big tv in the middle. I am leading my work bracket.

Agreed. Eventhough I think last game was one of his best this season, that isn't saying much. You need to be scoring points on a more consistent basis when you're playing with Patrick Kane in the best year of his career. He also can't win faceoffs for shit. I keep my fingers crossed that Bowman will get that #2 C that all Hawks fans dream of but I don't have any real hopes for it.

Luckily, there are very few holes on this team. A number two center is the most obvious.

He was covering the guy on the other side while giving the goalie a look at the puckhandler. That happens all the time.

Yea, but Getzlaf was pretty far behind the play. He should of closed off Perry quicker. Instead, he just went down on the ice to play the pass when it wasn't necessary there. He just misread the situation.

Youre right. I saw that on the replay. Hockey moves fast, and he was covering his side.

I think I would rather have them pull someone off the ice and go 4 on 4.

Tying or winning goals in the last five minutes every time with this team.

What does that say about a team? Honestly. I'm a hockey novice. Lack of focus? Poor conditioning?

Outplayed in 2 of the last 3 games. This team needs Sharp and Hossa back badly.

They've been out played and out lucked by Anaheim in the last 5 minutes of all 3 games. Anaheim is a really good team and both teams are even. For whatever reason, that last 5 minutes is all Anaheim. We haven't had Hossa or Sharp in 2 of 3 meetings vs them either.
