Muskat just tweeted that six players are making their first ever opening day starts. Other than the obvious with Samardzija, it's Castillo, Rizzo, Lillibridge, Valbuena and Schierholtz. That's certainly a sign your team sucks.

The Royals lineup is good.

Im not making any sort of larger statement about the pirates, its just rare and caught my eye. Usually you dont have ALL those types of guys. Usually there's a journeyman or free agent in there.

Even the guys from other teams are former big time prospects.
