While I expect it to be a great, great show, did Bob really say it's one of their best builds in a long, long time?

That's definitely on a grading scale and it's also comparing it to the last 4-5 Manias. Below is how I remember the build to Mania, it has nothing to do with the actual matches, just the build up

WM28 - Once in a Lifetime (already failed). Team Johnny vs Team Teddy (terrible). Punk vs Jericho had no build. Orkman vs kane had zero build. taker vs hhh build kinda sucked

WM27 - Miz in the main event. That's pretty much enough right there. Snookie had a match. Michael Cole had a match and swagger didn't. orton vs cena had zero build. daneil bryan not on card

WM26 - Swagger won MITB and Taker retired Shawn in the rematch. Terrible Bret vs Vince stuff. Should have been the biggest $ making thing in their history if done properly. That's About all I remember. Shawn and Taker couldn't remember their interviews in the month leading up to it.

WM25 - THis was ok with the taker vs hbk build but had the terrible cena, show, edge build with Vicky. iirc the match was made the week of mania. had the jeff vs matt hardy build which was one of the worst of all time. i think this is the one where trips broke into orkman's house and threw him out the window.

WM24 - big show vs merryweather was interesting. Flair's retirement stip - the way it was built was lame. Chavo doesn't need to be on the card. taker vs edge build was good.

This Mania - Swagger in semi-main event = win. Brock smashing everyone, broke vkm's hip, hbk's arm, brock's arm, etc. Rock is better than no Rock (better last year though), taker vs punk build is terrible, Sheild build up is good, ryback vs markus alexander henry is fine, Rhodes scholars are great, no LCW, bryan and kane are good, and you have Fandango. All in all, better than the last 5 imo.

That's great. Have fun.

I can't wait until Speeps Jr. is old enough to enjoy it.

+1. But with my own kid, not yours. That would be weird.

I don't have any kids that I know about, but I'm unsure about getting them into wrestling. We'll see one day.

I didn't really plan on getting my girls into it. My 3rd daughter a few years ago was not feeling good and was sleeping on the couch in the living room on a Monday night while was I was watching RAW on the DVR. And she was hooked. She fell in love with Randy Orton. The next day I found her rewatching RAW on the DVR after school. So she started watching it with me every week and then the rest of the girls saw her interest in it and they they started watching as well.

I'm in a tent right outside CIJ's garage. I'm watching the Dusty DVD on the Netflix gimmick with my phone. Just waiting for the gates to open.

I am bringing a pan of fried chicken. :D

Major thanks to Chris in Joliet for hosting tonight. It was great to finally meet everyone and see Don Tiny again. Sounds like I made the right decision by skipping the last two matches and getting home at a decent hour. The chicken Donspiracy brought was excellent as well.

The payyyyy windaaaaaaaaaa baybeeeeeee!!!!

I don't think I could top the one where I got about ten board members names dropped in the conversation. "In my mind, they really Bob Loblaw'd that finish and the fans crapped on it live."

I remember that, I think it was the WrestleMania, it was 2 years ago.

Bullshit; the most entertaining part of the night, besides my wit and charm, was Drop In. There, I said it; another person on the short list that I don't wish to personally immolate.
