That injury reminded me of the reaction I had when I saw the Shaun Livingston and Joe Thiesmann injuries. Hope the kid recovers fully without problems to lead a pain-free life; a return to basketball should be the last thing on his mind.

I would argue the refs are letting Louisville be rather aggressive. There could be a foul called every inbounds against them. Lots of handchecking and hipchecking going uncalled. There is a difference between good defense and hacking.

Calling a press doesn't mean outcoaching. I thought Louisville made some clutch shots down the stretch and Wichita State missed some easy inside points. I thought the WSU coach did a great job actually.

Also that bad jump ball call at the end had more impact on outcome than coaching.

All those timeouts starting just under 4 minutes to go in the 1st half--tv as well as team timeouts by Pitino--killed Michigan's momentum.
