Saw him courtside announcing the National Title game (and no, he wasn't hard to see among all the Michigan yellow gear, you racist piece of crap). I bought the complete Yanni set from channel 11 specifically because he was hosting the pledge drive. As far as I'm concerned, he's an honorary white man.

I can't say with certainty but I think the mother of a girl I went to high school with just married Bob Rohrman.

He's come a long way since being Production Director & part time host at the old 93.9 WLAK (now WLIT-FM) in the early '80s. I think there's a simple reason why Gene Honda continues to get work as the P.A. voice of the White Sox, Blackhawks & the NCAA Final Four the last 5 years. The man has a distinctive voice.

He does have a good voice, but he gets too hacky doing the Hawks games. I'd prefer a simpler atmosphere, with more organ and less POWER PLAAAYYYY.

Do you prefer Harvey Wittenberg instead for Blackhawk games? I found it curious that the #2 Star of the Game after Sunday's win over Nashville was...Andrew Saad?

Yeah, I caught that too. It's funny, because Shaw and Saad are road roommates and BFFs now. Perhaps it's reasonable to merge them into one drafted-too-late monster named "Andrew Saad."

But yeah, I like Harvey Wittenberg better. I wish Wayne Messmer would get one more chance to do the anthem, too. Not because he's better, but just for the fun of it.

One problem with that. Wayne Messmer works for the AHL Chicago Wolves, not just singing the Anthem, but he's in their front office, too.

I CAN SAY with a good amount of certainty that Bob Rohrman's daughter should not plug her phone in on the Board of Trade trading floor and just leave it there.
