I didn't catch this one Tuesday although I could have sworn I visited the site. I listened to transition but after laughing at Beerstain too many times I found something else to provide background noise. Had someone posted this http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/04/09/ ... -ricketts/ I probably would have listened to see if there was anything further said on the show.

Was there anything said either by Matty or Beerstain regarding this? I laughed during transition when both Meatpants and his sub-host asked Beerstain to explain why if there were no obstacles to Cubs owner's son Tom Ricketts getting his way, then why wasn't he getting his way?

Of course it became too laughable when Beerstain wanted to talk about his source explaining that B.J. Armstrong may have a role in why Derrick Rose is not playing right now. Breaking news there but only if you didn't read anything written on the CBS Local website between February 18 and March 22nd. Right after Beerstain posted his blog about Rose not needing to return before Rose was ready, and not necessarily this season, Rose was quoting his agent (Armstrong) in explaining that he would come back when he was ready.

I can't believe I missed all of this.

On one hand it is nothing new, just repeating what was said by the team's Chairman last summer with a reiteration by the coach explaining what has happened since Rose was cleared to practice. Its an interesting contrast to Beerstain's repeating of what the team doctor said last year (he hasn't been publicly quoted since) and his super secret club sources who speak of Rose "destroying people" in practice and thus wanting him to play.

I once remember Beerstain explaining his own injury and how nobody knows their own body better than the individual. Then again I wonder exactly who it is that is getting destroyed in practice, and whether Coach Thibs gives them any playing time?

Maybe I'll tune in today and see if anything new is said? Or just see if they try to go 3.5 hours talking to each other without taking a call.
