Nice sports bar. Plenty of TV's, had the Bulls, Sox, Cubs and Hawks all on. You get a $1 discount off your bill for each Hawks goal. Wish they had more on tap, but they've got revolution beers and the usual Americans which I don't order.
Burgers were great, fried pickels were awesome and they make their own chips which were pretty good (I had parmesian and garlic chips). I had a guacamole/salsa burger.... damn fine.

So, if anyone wants to meet up for a game up in the Lakemoorish area, let's check it out.

As a former commercial broker who had a number of bars to rent/sell, I would get business plans galore with names. Last Yard, FiNAL SHOT, DUNKERS, etc.

Then the classic scenario of 4/5 guys who are friends and want to own a bar, call it Benchwarmers and want to keep their full time jobs as well. Recipe for failure.

A name is a name. If its a cool bar with good food, good atmoshere, and reasonable prices, you could call it Carrotface Pub and it would still make a lot of $, provided its run correctly.

Oh yeah, hard to forget a place with a big metal bull out front. I know exactly where it is now, south side
of the highway. Hell with that thing out front they should have tied it into "bull" somehow. With the
championship run I am sure everything possible was used. Bullzeyes would have been a bit obvious but
I would have maybe tried to use the Bull if still there.

There is one by me called 'Hot Shots'. They have at least 20 TVs, but they don't even have the Sunday Ticket. What kind of sports bar doesn't air all of the NFL games each Sunday? One that doesn't get my business.

Haven't been there, and I don't even know where it's at. I know there's a place in Glendale Heights or Carol Stream on North Ave. called Shotz, but I don't think that's what you're talking about. The Shotz place looks like a dive, and I haven't been there either.

Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill was solid back in the day. Had the hoop in the middle with the net, could shoot hoops at anytime.

The Game at the Bluechip, gets a nod for being one dumb law away from being a real sports book. They have the same screens and service that a sports book in vegas uses.

Example of terrible sports bar was when chelis chili opened on Madison! The Worst

Had a hot dog cart and a bin of chili in a warehouse with all the crap from chelis basement + the beer distrubution crap on the wall. His dad sat there took the cash home for a year or so and closed the doors.

T-Bone, it was called Longhorns. It went out of business. Probably because it sucked.
The bull was vandalized, someone sawed off his horns. kinda shitty.
It was going to be a strip club, dude spent a ton renovating it and went broke.
So... the owner of the building decided to make a run of it for himself. I guess he's some kind of renowned chef or something.
Hey Bigfan, why not come up with a better name and sell it to him?
